Given that I am the token socialist on this forum, I don't believe in banning stuff. Instead, I propose a kitsch tax that would merely make it unprofitable to make crappy anime. I don't get how people can fly and break mountains with their fists in dragonball +(Z/GT), or how monsters come out of cards in Yu Gi Oh. Every title is directed to a certain age group/audience that find it appealing. :mellow:

Anything that involves toys (yoyos, tops cards) being used as fighting things. I'm SOOO sick of this shows. The only toy I haven't seen manipulated into a killing machine are kites!!

Yes, ban Clannad, Kanon (especially 2006 version, since appealing art style + good animation leads to child porn); ban Air too, since it shows Yukito wasting juice (think of all the third world countries that are short on food).

Also while you're at it, ban Code Geass (promotes terrorism via use of giant robots and chess), Death Note (senseless killing), Neon Genesis Evangelion (too much thinking involved), Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu (GOD IS NOT FEMALE!!!!one!!eleven), Rozen Maiden (creation of the 'desu' meme), TTGL (violence!), Full Metal Alchemist (alchemy is just witchcraft in disguise), and ef - a tale of memories (name is not properly capitalized).

Finally, ban the 4kids dub of every anime BUT Pokemon. Shaman King needs a re-dub, Hoshii no Kirby can burn, One Piece Funimation already is taking care of, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters has an abridged series of it for god's sake, Sonic X needs the return of the original voice actors (Tails' Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 voice actor). Yu-Gi-Oh! GX BURN!

Anyway, Death Note is a controversial plot. there are 2 sides. 1 is that getting rid of criminals is good, but there's also 1 side who goes against it because it breaks the law ironically (killing other killers).
