If you play, in the left hand (all quarter notes)
-------------------
two C major 7th chords
two D minor 7th chords
two E minor 7th chords
two D minor 7th chords
two C major 7th chords
--------------------
and then continue going up and down with two Dm7, two Em7, two Dm7, two Cma7 ect. ect. ect. then you can play anything in the right hand and it sounds good! As long as you don't play any sharps/flats it turns out sounding like a song

you can even do this chord thing in the left hand and the c scale in the right hand and it sounds good!

try it out

Sounds like crappy noobish random chord progressions. =S But I'm not good enough so maybe you're better at utilising it. Cool "trick", I guess.

I wouldn't call it a trick... It's a highly unoriginal chord progression that you hear all the time in uninspired ballads on the radio. ~_~

At first, I'm like- "Hey wait, classic Iron Maiden Chord Progression" then I looked at the 'major' and 'minor' listings. It wasn't lol.

Iron Maiden's :

E minor
D Major
C Major
D Major
E minor

 Hey....it works though

I wouldn't suggest using it for a real song but if you ever need some random thing thing to play....
