Wow, I didn't even know Ichigos had this forum... Awesome!
Okiedokie, It seems like everyone else is making a new thread with their art, and I don't see a thread for everyone to put their art in it, so I'll go with this:

OLD ART:

This would be a sketch, just a doodle of boredom. Don't shoot me if it's not perfect :P :
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/Mirmaidgirl.jpg

This was pre-refrence discovery  ^_^ :
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/ManInTheFlame.jpg

This was used as my set... :
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/dreamingfin.jpg

And this was for my friend's birthday... but yeah... :
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/DanceRainfintxtresize.jpg

An RP thingy...:

For the contest:
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/Photo_081506_001.jpg

Just for fun. I do plan to color this one ^_^ :
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/IMG_1367.jpg

I play a game (Phantasy Star Universe) and this is my friend's character...
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/PSUchibi.jpg

This is my own character:
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/PSUchibi2jpg.jpg

Not quite sure what to call this. It's pretty much self explanatory. :heh:
Don't ask what the thing is. I don't know. Aaaand... Don't ask why her bottom half isn't there. I don't know that either. XD
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/wtfmusicresave.jpg

Decided to keep with the previous characters. ^_^
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/WTFirritatejpg.jpg

NEW ART:

This was a copied pose from a book, but I was using it for wing practice.
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/AngelScan.jpg

This, is one I'm really proud of, though I know there's something wrong with her face... not sure what it is though.
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Reina_4/MermaidScan.jpg

Yes, I know I messed up on her face, but I tried to use the mistake to my advantage. Watercolors are so unforgiving...

Thanks.

Glad you all like them. Usually I use this 3-d program on the computer called DAZ to make the models, then I sketch it on paper... then color on Photoshop CS2. Every now and then I use Corel Essentials Painter 2... ^_^

Feel free to give me some criticism if you all have it.

Edit: Yeah I've got a tablet too. It's a wacom. ^_^

I know I haven't been on here much, so I thought I'd update you on the latest work I've done.

I've been doing more writing than drawing lately, but here's two I just finished. I'm actually really proud of them.

For this one, I used a pose in a book I have, and it was just practice for wings.

I actually painted a mermaid last friday, I'm waiting for my scanner to start behaving before I post it up here.

Alright, Since I was asked to color it, I did a watercolor of a different drawing.

Now, keep in mind I TOTALLY screwed up on the coloring of her face, but I did my best to use the mistake to my advantage. Watercolors are so unforgiving.

OHOH!! the mermaid has a baby in her arms!!! how cute!!! ^_^
your background is cool! i like the browny-khaki thingy in the background, looks awesome!
hmmm, im guessing you made those light dots on the background by putting more water there?

I like watercolours... but i always mess up with them
hehe... i can never do what you did with watercolours

The "browny-khaki thingy" was actually a happy mistake. My brother was trying to steal my brushes, and he knocked over my tanish paint that I was using for the skin colors onto the painting... and of course I grabbed for the paper towel immediately, but it still left a mark. haha You can see it to the right of her head, and to the bottom left of the page.

and yes, I did use water to make the dots. I meant to make them seem more like bubbles, but liked the effect of it just as it was.

Thanks so much! Yeah, I find watercolors to be extremely frustrating if you fuss about all the little things. I just tried to make the best of the mistakes. :D

I know I am probably going to ruin you vibe of good comments, but...there were a few things, different:heh:The arms seamed to long for the body and the chest area is a little too big, making the face look smaller than it is. Other wise from the waist down(and the hair and background)it is really good:D

And just to let everyone know, I am not a professional artist so what I say may be just stupid so you don't have to follow it, just making sure you know that. Although I do do good in Art Class.

Yay! Some criticism! :D

Yeah, I see what you mean, her arms are a little long. I guess I haven't had much practice using real-life proportions yet. Thanks for pointing that out! ^_^

I'm surprised nobody noticed the coloring mistake that made the face look wonky in the first place. haha I had just finished adding shadows to her skin, when I started shadows on the hair (stupid, stupid me) and since is was still incredibly wet, the darker colors flooded right into the lighter area of her face. D:

Word of the wise, make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you don't start painting something next to what you just did until it dries. (Unless, of course, you want that really cool blending look)

Alright... well it's been a while. Mostly because I've been busy writing and such.

The story on this one is I finished writing the book I've been working on, and thought I'd make a cover. (It was also my art final too).

So yeah. I guess it's not all that special. I spent a LOT less time on the castle than I did on everything else. I am really proud of the tree though. :]

It's watercolor with colored pencil.

Cool, I like the perspective... though the proportions and vector points seem to be a bit off... Like for example, the road leading to the province...thingy... seems like it's branching off of the tree. Though it seem that you try to make it seem like that it is a very far distant object, maybe you could have the road sort of open up a bit and maybe lean at an angle a bit if anything... just a small critisizm though... nothing big. :)
