Me and my friends just completed this strange, yet entertaining game. It's unlike any other game in many senses. It's very artistic, and the story feels very cut off (in a good way actually). The beginning doesn't feel like a beginning, and the end doesn't feel like an ending.

Has anyone else had the chance to play this wonderfully different game?

Yes, this game is in my top ten games. I love how they take a boss battle and make it into a whole new thing. I love all the bosses that can fly and the last Colossus was so fun to fight. The only thing i hated was when you get the horse in the woods i kept getting stuck on trees. But, great game.

It's worth it RD =] I mean, you will need to appreciate its simplicity and artistic design... which is pretty different from other games.

Okay... May get it when I get a job though. If I get it I will be stuck with very VERY little money. Sucks being underaged.

And its not a greatest hit yet because its basicaly a cult classic like its mother Ico.

I beat the whole game. And, well I could honestly say, that I hate the boss where you have to jump on the pillars.

I hated it so much that I made my cousin do it for me. It just looked so boring.

But what made me appreciate the game was the motion blur effect. It made the whole game...so damn sexy.

you have the internet? when riding the horse get the worm to chase you then turn around and shoot the worm in the eye with the bow...the rest is obvious...

yeah this game is really good, i loved the atmosphere and the graphics:think: does anyone know you can grap onto birds and they carry you through the air? and fish as well, only they pull you through the water.

I remember one of the Colossus was in a cave filled with sand and to avoid being hit by it you'd stand by the stone pillars or whatever, I think it was the worm. But it hit me once and the horse was god knows where and I had to run to one of the pillars and the worm was chasing right after me. XD

Man, I loved this game. The battles were mind blowing. And the ending is great too. This game gives you that alone feeling since it's pretty much you and your horse in this MASSIVE beautiful land, it's a rather surreal but good feeling. If you have a PS2, you gotta try this game, just for the experience. If any of you enjoyed this game, you should check out Ico, it's by the same guys that done Shadow of the Colossus.

i borrowed this game from a friend and started playing it yesterday. so far ive defeated 7 collosus and it has been pretty challenging but really fun. the scenery for this game is amazing and i love the music that is played when you cling onto the collosi before you start stabbing it to death

Lol yeh thats the one. Grrr, so frustrating and scary. 12 was pretty frustrating though I must admit. The first time I did it, it took me 4 and a half hours to beat it because I didn't know you could hit the rocks to make it turn and go forward etc. I just had to wait for it to walk close enough to a thingo and pray mid-air that it really WAS close enough.

hey there's a spoiler tag?! *looks around* oh....ya...that, sorry. I've never done the forum thing before, please bear with me lol. Yeh the second smallest was a royal pain in the hiney. But once I figured out what to do, it was kinda fun in a way *laughs at colossus from ontop of tower* paaaahahahahahahha! ---- no but the last part of the battle, when it all crumbles and stuff, I always ended up landing beside the pile and then got smashed into a corner, and as soon as the kid stirs its just like WHAM again, and then again, and again. Stupid beast doesn't even give you a chance. Yeh you can guess how many times i died like that. And how many controllers i broke in frustration :-P hahahah what a blissful moment when I brought the mutt down.

I just got this game after I found it in a bargain bin [omg lol]. It was a pain at first because I had to have my little brother tell me where the collosi's were from his diminishing memory of playing it a long time ago, but then I find out after the third one that the sword's light tells you where they are.

I'm a bit sad that the game seems to short. I was reading where people are happy that there aren't smaller creatures to kills on your travels because it would ruin the magicality of the game, but I like killing small monsters [salamanders?], 'specialy with this kind of battle system.

10/10 even without little small minions to kill and with the short game.

BUT ASS HARD
