The title says pretty much of it. She was originally a character for my fanfic, but the plans changed... her name is Yukie [Yoo-kee-eh].

It is a full-body picture, but it was too large so I can only update the bodice part. I still have to think of something for the background, though... I hope you like it, and please comment! :)

Thanks

Very nice, I'd say to make it better just to put more composite and darker colors like real animes. But thats just my opinion.

Wow. That's really good. Keep it up. Only one problem I see, the right hand looks a lot bigger than the left. That's it though.

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF GOD, I'M IN LOVE!

Three thing: try to blend the purse outline a little better on Yukie's dress. It looks a little choppy. The second is that usually when someone winks, the eyebrow of the corsponding eye drops. So drop her right eyebrow down just a tad. That'll fix her expression. And the third: there's something wrong with her right breast. I can't put my finger on it, but there is something really wrong. I'm thinking it's a lack of depth shading near the center of her bosoms, but I'm not too sure of that.

But it still looks really good despite the flaws.

Yay, thanks for all the replies! LoL, Septermagick, you're right... one of her hand IS bigger than the other, I just noticed that! lol.

M, thank you for the advices. LoL, I agree with you, the purse doesn't look right with the rest of the picture.. and I'll keep the eyebrow tip in mind! ^_^ Oh, and as for her chest, she's wearing a loose materialled dress, and it puffs out at the chest... and under that, it's tied by a corset kind of things so the loose material kind of drapes over... I know I wasn't quite able to clearly show that part, but I'm working on it! Thanks again! ^_^

LoL, seems like I over-used the dodge tool... and I forgot to shade on different layers -.-''' Haha, thanks for the advice, Crimson Dragon! I'll keep that in mind when I do the next GC [which is all my characters in my Harry Potter fanfic... I'm kind of obsessed with drawing story characters, lol]

And meim, thanks! I'm really glad you think it looks good! ^_^

It does look good. ^_^ I do believe the others said most things... except maybe her right eye is too far to the side of her head?? And she needs more shading... I find that there is two kinds of shadows in drawing. One kind is when something is casting a shadow on the object, so the line of the shadow should be more visable... an example of this would be the shadow of the purse. (which you did correctly) The other kind of shadow is not cast by the object itself. So there you would have to blend it a bit more... I hope that made sense... :shifty:

That's awesome! Sure, it's not perfect, but that's incredible!

Wow, that's great, I love the details/shading/lineart, etc. but the only details I find are off that have not been mentioned yet, are:

The left side of her neck (your view of the image's right, not her right) should bend a small bit with the angle of her head. Also, if you were to change that, her choker/necklace should angle with it a bit too.
Her arms seem a bit too long for the size of her body, and her right one(image view's left) seems to stretch too far from her body or that you have made her body line too thin for the stretch of the arm... Usually people place their elbow's closer to their body in a pose like that, also the sleeve on the same arm seems to cut off a part of her arm that should be there... It might just be the way I view things though...
Also, her eyes: the one we view on the right should angle more with the angle of her head, and usually when an eye winks, the cheek and mouth move up with it a bit too and the wink is usually more to the center of the eye, I think...

However, maybe I'm wrong since there are many styles of anime, and these rules might not have to apply to the style you aimed for... :heh:

great art, did you do that whole thing in PS or just the coloring?

She reminds me of winry (sp?) from FMA for some reason.

Thank you! I'll keep the advises in mind! ^_^ Oh, and Siul, I did a rough sketch of her by hand, and did the good lineart on Photoshop, and the coloring is also done on photoshop.
