Hopefully this qualifies for this board. If not, Mods, please move it.

Anyway, I dl'd the Fountain of Dreams zip (found in S under SSBM), and I became a little confused. First off, I can't find the tempo anywhere. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be, I'm leaning towards 140 or 160, but I'd like someone who's more experienced to help. I'll post the link to the midi found on this site a little later. Also, in the drums part, there are notes that look like 16th notes, but have two, uh, "dots" for lack of a better word, on only one stem. One friend of mine says they should be played as 16th notes, and that the second "dot" only reaffirms it, or something, but another friend says the notes should be played as 32nd notes. Another problem with these notes is that there's one stem in there that has only one "dot" on it. If anybody could please maybe download the zip and check the drums to see what I'm having trouble with, that would be appreciated.

I was going to fix it... can I? I knew there were a lot of problems with this MIDI (meaning the WHOLE orchestra) , and a couple of other requests on ichigos.com... I can fix it if you want.

Your Quantization Settings weren't right. I can find the exact tempo for you (only in Finale)....

There are no problems with the dots... you just didn't have the correct Quantization Settings.

I'll clean it up for you if you want.

I have no idea what you mean by "Quantization settings", and how are you going to "clean it up"? And about the notes, are they 32nd or 16th? They sound right with 32nd, sort of, but I dunno.

I'd appreciate the tempo as well.

By "cleaning it up", I meant that I would get really specific with the score... for example, some of the 16th notes were actually 32nd notes. Also, some of the notes can also be interpreted as grace notes, and I would also find the dynamics for every note (whether it's a mezzo forte, forte, piano, etc...)... This may take a while.

The Tempo starts at an Adagio (60) for 3 measures until the 1-4 time signature, it goes to a 160 (Presto?)

It's finished: (not recommended for Dial-up... if using dial-up, it can take up to 45 minutes.)

Alright, thanks. I'm guessing you were the person that made it then? Thanks a bunch.

EDIT: So 60 for the first three, then at the 1-4 bar, and for the rest of the song, it immediately changes to 160? 60 seems a little slow...

Nope... I didn't make it. I just decided to fix it.

Well, 60 seems very slow at the start.
