MUGEN is pretty awsome, but not when someone like sandbag from SSBM can take away half your life bar with one attack.

You got bittorent? You can get this 1.3 gig version with 507+ characters, Featuring entire casts X-Men, Capcom, Dragon Ball Z, Transformers, Mortal Combat, Street Fighter, and misc like mario and what not.

I agree Mugen is a very good fighting game. You can construct characters from sprites, import your own stages, etc.

I've been playing Mugen for 2 years now, and I really never got bored of it.

I just recently got into MUGEN. Took me a damn longass time to get it to work though. I got Naruto and Sasuke...they're sick. And they're not the crappy small ones that you get either.

I'm going extremely slow at 35-45kbps...

edit: nevermind, it just went up to 230kbps. not bad I guess..

*hates his internet conection* max I ever got on a DL (torrent) was like 100KB/s...and it was ubuntu. My DL rates never go over 15kb/s and usualy hanf arounf 5kb/s.

I opened it, opened in fullscreen mode....mugen at 1920x1200 isnt that pretty... how do I get it to run in winowed mode? also had some sound issues. and I dont know controls, but from random button mashing and 2 min of play looks good. Music played was linkin park and they had a crapload of characters...

I downloaded this pack today....damn I shouldn't have deleted my other winmugen. The music fucks up while you're choosing your characters,(dunno if it can be changed) and some of the characters don't even work unless there's a way of changing that. I'm just gonna re-download my old mugen and just use characters from this pack and download another screenpack.

Yeah I know. that's what I did... I downloaded the..um...Something Mugen Battle Zero. Works way better then the link that I posted earlier.

What pisses me off is when i install a new screenpack, I can't see the text (options, arcade etc) and one that did show them, it couldn't show the text in the options menu...perhaps it was a dodgey screenpack or i didn't install it properly. I'll look that one up.

Yeah. Mugen All Characters Battle Zero. (Despite the fact that its FAR from having all characters...) It just handles better for me than the other mugen. It's smaller, but the sound works. You can actually ADD characters to this one without it giving you errors, and it doesn't unexpectedly close down out of nowhere.

I just use the default pack. But I increase the number of slots to 60. I'm already out of space though =/

as far as I know (off memory here so dont quote me) mugen is legal, it is however ilegal to steal sprites and characters (along with soundtracks and music in general) off the internet, since obviously you havent payed for those.
