Does anyone other than me play the card game magic. If so please reply (Also I'd like to know you're deck y'know :D )

I used to play, but I stopped because it was too boring for my taste. The games just took too long. I had a black/blue beat down deck. I'm addicted to YU-Gi-Oh! right now.

Oh ya, this belongs in the Game section.

Used to play, but get to expensive, had a red and green deck, "clean" the table with the red and attack with the green.

O I like blue cause of counterspells what's your favorite card? Mine is Miraris wake even though it's type one. I have a Mistform/Wizard deck.

my deck is a pure white.....i HAD a black and white....but i lost that and had to build a pure white.......ah well......

i think my cards are just lying around my room collecting dust for a year now.... :lol:

argh i could never understand these card games T_T all i know is during ssr all the guys would go in the back and play it (even the teacher :blink: ) lol

Wow everyone seems to use white. Btw what do you think is the best color combo?

Wake isn't type one yet. It's extended right now. I kinda stopped playing at DS because I got into... yea... hearts -.-" Old games can be fun. The last deck I made was a whacky artifact deck.

yea... weird deck... I also had a kinda odd deck which used 4x isochrons and 4x boomerangs in the deck comboed with chrome moxes to lock out the other player on turn one allowing them only 1 land... Unfortunately the chances of getting the right hand on turn one for that deck were slim to none so I usually ended up locking them later than I'd plan. Anyways, I'm thinking of getting the Wake tournament deck just to relive what it was like. (I pulled a foil wake and I went nuts!)

I also tried to make a slide deck but it ended up becoming a poor mans slide because... well... Exalted Angel is a bit too rich for me -.-"

The best color combo IMO would be mono blue... at least in mirrodin/DS but then again splashing red or black isn't that bad of an idea either...

My friends and I over at Bellarmine had a 2 mirodin 1 DS draft and I packed eater of days... yea... the 9/8 flying for 4 that makes you skip your next 2 turns... I busted it out on my friend 3rd turn with seething song and it was ggnorekthx =D

I also used to run a wirewood superman deck but I lent it out to a friend a few months ago and haven't gotten it back so I can't really post a deck list at the moment... Pemmin's is such a broken card :rolleyes:

I think blue's the best color, I mean you just gotta love flying and counterspells. speaking of which, WHY ISN'T "COUNTERSPELL" 2ND EDITION!!

i tried learning magic, but ti was too complicated. and the dude who was teaching me, he had like a flashback thing which i dont understand... but yea, he got like 9 birds out, then tapped 3 and got 2 more i think. -_-

flashback means you can play it from the graveyard aka discard pile for an extra mana cost

note to all: when trying to get someone to start playing ALWAYS let them win. that will make them like it better at the beggining and have a better chance of actually playing the game.

Because counterspell+isochron(sp?) scepter==broken?

well you could use a Vex but that's kinda bad, your opponent could draw a card every time you countered.

wow sounds like some crappy asshole friends ayanami...mine would never do that.....
