Hey people is there any way in heaven or hell that you can extract or write a score from a MP3 file? I mean like how you can with a MIDI file, just music only, without the words and special effects and stuff...
I've heard some people talking about a random program that can do it, but I can't seem to find any...
Any help will be appreciated!

There is a program called Polyphonic MIDI converter. You can convert MP3 to MID. But it doesnt work that well. The bests way to make a score from an MP3 is to do it yourself or there would be no need for transcribers!

I'm afraid there isn't. Although there are programs that can take a printed score and inport it to Sibelius, and render a MIDI file of it.

O RLY?
You can convert a MP3 into MIDI? Where do you get the program from? I'll give it a try. I'm bored, that's all, lol...
Thanks anyways.
