It might give you a headache to listen to this, because I have the worst recording equipment ever and I can't sing, but this is a small tribute to the late Peter Tomarken, actor and gameshow host. He died exactly 6 months ago from today, and that's why the song is called 6 Months. (although the Mp3 is called "sad" because I was lazy...) Remember that this is my first composition, so don't be too harsh on the critisizm(I can't spell). I only used four basic chords throuought the whole song, but I tried to add things around them...

Okay ;) You can't sing! Here's a tip for the rhythm though; Even simple chords would do better than the harmony you used (or arpeggios = broken chords). Um, yeah... this is your first composition so I won't be too critical.

awww..... it's kinda cute, with the right singer that would be really fantastic.

Well, when it first started the singing wasn't THAT bad... But then once the chorus came on, er...Yeah.....:heh: No further comments on the singing.
I kinda' liked the chords and all stuff. Pretty good base, but it needs more instruments. It would make a good rock song I suppose. *Is just about ready to go make his own version of the song for you, lol.*

I'd like more instruments too, but, sadly, I don't have Finale or any of those programs.
Thanks for the comments. Now I know that I could never be on American Idol...:heh:

don't you think it would be a good idea to post your creation without the voice ^^ and with lyrics, and maybe some courageous person from the forum will decide to sing it ^^ (well kinda crazy idea, but just wanted to suggest)
and show the final product ^^

yeah, they were right, you need more instruments in there, and it would make an awesome rock song xD pretty good for a first composition :D
