ok i'll help

in piano theres a treble cleff and a bass cleff .... the treble is played by the right hand, and the bass cleff is played the the left.
When u look at a composition, you'll see 5 lines separated by small spaces and a symbol that looks like '&" , followed by the key that it is played in (which will have sharps = '#' or flats 'b').

When u want to play something written on this staff, u press the notes that are written on the staff. i find out the notes u can follow this:

danieln, I think what you said would only confuse him if he was completely music illiterate.

My suggestion, go to the library, ask them to find u a book on begginer piano or instrudction the piano and start from there. If you are expecting people online to teach you with posts, you will just end up getting more confused than when you started cause 'no offense intended to anyone' I doubt anyone online will be able to give you a detailed, easy to understand, tutorial to music.

Well what I suggest is finding any tutor. It can be private (goes to your home or you go to there's) or public like a business or store where you learn with others.
My suggestion would be to go private but make sure you can trust this person.
Although if you cannot get a tutor or don't want one, you can self teach. You must know the keys of the piano (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) and sharps and flats later on and learn how to read them. (Make sure you have also bought/borrowed a beginner's book to playing piano [RECOMMENDED])
