I sat down to a long expected RPG for the x-box the other day (sudeki). I thought it would actually have a decent story-line. I completed it the other day and had no challange at all. The charater's personality were so flat. If they spent as much time as they did in the story development as they did in the animation, we'd have somthing here.

I've got to agree with you. However, the opening movie was worth the price of a rental alone (the puppet show). It even started off promising enough but it becomes apparent something not so great is amiss when they can't decide on one basic accent ot have the characters in a city speak with. It does get points for having a Winston Churchill quote though.

Not to mention the fact that the special attacks and summons are extremely cool and pretty. All in all, it was worth the rental but I wouldn't buy it. I think I'll save my Xbox RPG money for Fable. That game just looks awesome.

sudeki aint released yet in holland.... coming out on 20th of august.... hope its worth the price cauz im getting it on the releasedate

I got mixed up with Kameo.

I don't like the way Perfect Dark Zero is looking though. Conker Live and Uncut looks great though.

Actually not the shares but just Rare as a complete company has been bought by M$. But that's off-topic. I have a Sudeki poster somewhere around here, the game looks appealing to me but if the story bites then I guess I won't bother. Well, if I had an X-box in the first place.

It isn't that the story's horrible, there's just so much more they could have done with it. The combat is awesome though and well worth the rental. It would have been a much better game if they had removed all but the barebones of the story and made it mostly a dungeon crawler like Gauntlet, or Baldur's Gate. Four player action in that game would be killer.

Edit:Yeah, if only Rare hadn't sucked for the last five years with Nintendo. I don't count Goldeneye and PD because almost all of the members of that development team went off and formed Free Radical (makers of Timesplitters). Kameo is starting to look damn awesome though. Unfortunately it probably won't be out for another six years (in classic Rare style).

No-one's supporting sudeki... I guess it is bad, and it's not just me...

This game is rather annoying...but it's not as unplayable as i first thought it to be...

I recently had the *cough* honour of reviewing Sudeki for a magazine, I played it for hours and I am now sick of it. There really isn't a plot worth exploring but the graphics were constantly awe inspiring. I did rate it faily high though because of the lack of proper RPGs on Xbox. It was a good attempt at imitating Final Fantasy.

My fave character was also Buki, but her alter-ego was a bit stupid with pig-tails.
