Heard of the movie Spirited Away, he composed the music for that moivie

... basically the composer for most of Hayao Miyazaki's animated movies.

Joe Hisaishi, apart from doing the Miyazaki movies, does the music for quite a few movies in Japanese cinema as well. The song "Summer" actually comes from a movie called "Kikujiro" or "Kikujiro no natsu." Really odd, but cute film. The music was the best part by far.
