Hey forumers,
I'm new on these forums. I'm new at composing, but I think I'm doing pretty well for a beginner.
Anyways, I'm working on my 3rd Composition now, but I'm stuck. I got a melody, a drums part. But I can't figure out what chord to use at the piano.
I'm sure if you listen to it you can feel what I'm trying to reach
I would be happy if someone could tell me what the best chord would be at that point (where the piano stops).
I think I already got the chord I needed, I'll upload the other file too.
By the way, what's the best program to use as a beginner?

It's more of an introduction than an entire piece. You have a good line going. Keep it up!

Hey KaitouKuou, thanks for the fast reply. I just edited in another version where I added the chords, I'm just worrying about one thing: Did I use the right chord? (I mean, where I ended in the first midi)
Anyways, I'm going to make my homework now, I hope I see more replies when I get back :heh:

It's just a tiny bit repetitive, but heck! It's good for a beginning composition, IMO. Just keep it going. ;)

beats my beginning compositions xD yeah, nice chord progression, and as KK said, its a good introductory piece.
whatever program you're using is fine. i started on pencil and paper, then switched up to finale notepad (it was free :P), but i wouldnt recommend it if you already have a program that allows you to convert to MIDIs...

Thanks for the replies guys!
I need some help now, I got the first Chorus (the song so far goes like: Intro-A-A'), now I want to add a refrain (B), but I want a good 'bridge' to move into the Refrain, what I got now seems way too.... bleh
How would you guys change into a refrain?
My idea is to make the song like this:
Intro-A-A'-B-A''-B-C-D-B'-Outro
For example, A is Verse 1, A' is Verse 2, which is, when added together, the chorus. Then B is the refrain. A" is Verse 3 and another part of a chorus.
B is the refrain again. Then you get C, which should be totally different from A and B. After this you'll get D, which I'm going to make a guitar solo. Then the Refrain gets repeated but a few changes made. Then there's a nice ending and the song is done.
