The bold one's my choice.
Lightningsages autumn
You can do bark! I can't.

Kohaku's Autumn
I love the background.

xSkillzs's Autumn
Those are wonderful colors!!!

PorscheGTIII
That's a nice little road; makes me want to walk down it!

Felicity Trasmin
That makes me dizzy. 0_o

Yellowmonkey
Wow that's good! You can draw very well!

Reina
*gasp* That fairy is adorable! And the leaf is just perfect! good job!
~~~~~~~
*click* I have made my vote.
Lightningsage's "Autumn"
Well, the coloring, in my opinion, could've been more even, and the clouds are all pretty much the same and are in very unrealistic shapes, but I thought it was a good drawing, and depicted aututmn very well. Good job.
Kohaku's "Autumn"
That sig is very good! ^_^ But for me... When I look at it, I don't really get that autumn vibe.
xSkillzs's "Autumn"
This was my favorite. It captured the season in its entirety, and it is a truly beautiful picture. It depicts the beauty and serenity that fall is. Great job! :)
PorscheGTIII's "Autumn"
For one thing, the quality's not the best. I like the photograph itself, but in my opinion, it doesn't represent fall very well. I mean, there's this one park around where I live, and it has a trail that looks nearly identical to that one... all year. Anyways, I thought it was a nice try at it. ;)
Felicity Transmin's "Autumn"
Ooh, this one I loved! ^.^ It's a great portrayal of autumn, and it is just spectacular. The photograph is really quite the piece of art, IMO. Good job! ^_^
yellowmonkey121's "Autumn"
I personally thought this entry was rather random. XD While it is a great drawing and it is beautiful, it seems to have nothing at all to do with fall. All I get is that sort of RPG-ish feel where you're starting or about finish the game, LoL. Good drawing, but it seemed really unrelated to autumn!
Reina's "Autumn"
As I said in your thread, I think the fairy is really good! :) Also, it depicted autumn very well. Good job; it was well drawn and colored.
Well... my vote has to go to xSkillzs's "Autumn." It seemed to really capture autumn really nicely. Great job, and all of you did fantastic! :lol:
I voted for Kohaku's because it gathers the togetherness that autumn brings, and sums it up with a very cute little girl!
(Yay, third person!)
You cna't vote for yourslef...
I'm probably not going to vote. If I did, I'd vote for XSkillzX because he has a great backyard lol.
OFF TOPIC: Think I should change my name to Homunculus? I've already got my avatar and sig planned out:
Actually, Noir never specified, so technically, you can vote for yourself. ;)
Guess not.
So can we or can we not vote for ourselves?
Noir7
Oh crap, I knew I forgot something. I thought most people could understand basic ethics... even if I did forget to mention that, you're not robots! Use you brains for goodness' sake...
Kohaku's vote is nulled.
Kohaku's vote is nulled.
... How embarrassing.
I do think that's unfair, though. Anyone, if given the chance would vote for themselves, it has to do with human nature.
Noir7
Not true. We've had these kind of mistakes (partly from my side, to forget to attach the rule of self-voting) in the Composition contests before, yet no one voted for him/her self because of it. Not counting the few click-mistakes.
Your vote is nulled, enough about this.
Self-Voting is just a way to ensure that they win. If presidents could vote for themselves...well...nevermind.
Cinderella
October 15th, 2006, 09:40 pm
May I at least vote for someone else then?
They can...
That's why I said nevermind...Cause I think they can...
Hmm...split between Felicity Transmin and xSkillzx...I'll go Felicity Transmin just cuz it has no votes :)
Ummm, I'm new around here, but I'll vote for my first post I guess...
xSkillzx's is pretty nice, I like the colors. But LightningSage's was probably hand drawn. With photography, all you really do is take a picture, drawing takes time. Eventhough the coloring could've been done better, my vote goes to LightningSage...
Melebourne
October 16th, 2006, 09:21 pm
My vote also goes to LightningSage. xSkillzx was a really nice picture, but it just doesn't seem like much work. It's art, yes, but it takes less than a minute.
Both wrong. Photography takes just as much skill as any other art. My vote goes to xSkillzx, beautiful image.
I agree with Meer. I really do not appreciate that comment. You're going to have to be quite *ahem* [deluded] to think that all there is to photography is point and shoot. There is as much skill and time as any other art form, and requires a lot more thought than you would like to think, and even more to make it perfect. It's not moron work that my friend over here with the cerebral palsy can do (or you). Okay, fine, they would smash the camera with a chair leg, but you get my drift. He dares you mock my art.. You have no idea... Ignorance... Whoa, sorry! Getting emotional here. *cough*
Lightningsage; That's really quite nice but I'm not a fan, man. Half the peple here are fans though. No hard feelings, we can still be friends right?
Kohaku; Not very much autumn, I'll say, but nice job nonetheless.
xSkillzs; The yellow is makes for some nice contrast and the lighting is superb... Jeez, I feel like I'm talking about food here. "This dish is sublime!! With it's smooth texture and a taste to die for, C'est parfait!" Oh I kill myself really...
PorscheGTIII; erm autumn?
Felicity Transmin; That's a beautiful shot. I would never be able to get away with doing that without people thinking I'm the repo man.
yellowmonkey121; Wow you draw very well. But really. Autumnnn. Looking back, I'm wondering what Noir7 was thinking about half of these.
Reina; You drew your signature and avatar too then? Similar style.
My votes going to have to be for Felicity Transmin, hands down.
I don't think I'm going to vote. :/
I spent too much time on that one to vote for someone else :)
heh...
Good luck everyone!
I also agree. I'm not saying my art didn't take long, but Photography does take a long time. Looking for the perfect angle and all is hard work. Drawing is too. I would expect someone who is older than me to understand Homunculus...Thank you for your votes though, just take some time to think about stuff though.
Felicity_Transmin
October 17th, 2006, 04:45 am
Photography does take a long time. And you get dirty doing that. After all, I was on my back, when I took that one. You have to get the right angle, the right focus, blah blah blah. (I can tell more, when I remember the damn terms. :D)
I blame technology. Now that digital point-and-shoot cameras are the norm, people don't truly appreciate a good picture. Personally, I'm a film guy with an SLR my dad used when he was a bit older than me, and boy, it does take time and effort if you're really into it. But hey, it's fun :)
Edit: Oh, welcome Homunculus and Melebourne. Looks like you guys just happened to hit a soft spot with the photographers, but I hope you enjoy your stay here :)
Noir7
October 17th, 2006, 11:47 am
Melebourne and Homonculus share the same IP number, which tells us that they're either the same person or are using the same computer. Both also joined here just to vote for Lightningsage. I have no other choice but to null both their votes.
Thanks goes out to two persons who PM:ed me about this.
Lightningsage
October 17th, 2006, 02:48 pm
...Whoa...I appreiciate the votes but I don't need them to cheat! Homu, you may NOT use the sig and ava anymore! Homunculus Melebourne, you can't just do that, ok? Making 2 or more profiles is against the rules isn't it?
EDIT: I think I know who was using Homunculus and Melebourne. It was probably a kid named Tyler at my school. He liked my art and also said the photography was a waste, and those are his e-mail adresses afterall...he has two of them...Anyways, shame on you!
Hmm...bit of a shame, really...ah well, you learn from your mistakes. I still welcome you to the forum...as long as you stay clean! :)
Well, looks like xskillzx is leading at this point in time...any more votes?
