I'm sorry this probably isn't the proper forum to place this in but.... I have a favor to ask of you....
I was just wanting to write and ask anyone that would to please...please pray for Ms. Adams, her family, and her brother..... Ms. Adams is my music professor at college and her brother has cancer. She told me over the summer that her brothers cancer level had went back up. Well yesterday she told me that it's at a critical point again and they can't find the tumor..... both of us have a bad feeling about it and I don't want anything to happen to him..... it will make her upset and I don't know if I can handle seeing that right now.... not after everything I have been through in such a short time. So please pray for her, her family, and her brother that he gets better.... please... I beg of you please pray for them.

Thanks so much,

Destiny (Piano Misstress)

When I read that, I jumped right off my chair and kneeld on the floor to pray. I'll pray every day for him! Please, don't be discouraged-God is a miracle worker, and through Him anything is possible! So keep your faith in God, I promise He will answer your prayers one way or another.

May God mave mercy on thy soul, and have the compassion to let him to live more of his days, may he not be judged to pass, for he has done nothing wrong. Many God let live to him, for he has many companions who should weep and depress for him. May God, the holy spirit, The Holy Virgin Mary of Trinity and Hope, and may HE HIMSELF that has sacrificed for our sins, Jesus Christ himself, bring peace and charity amongst these three young, lively souls of hope, get the hope of their need, for their souls are crying for him, to give pity.

amen

I shall pray for him, and pray, that he should rise again, and let peace continue on with his friends and family.....

I'm with you piano mistress, and may God Bless you for your efforts of hope.....

Again I thank you all so very much. And to answer your question Seeker of Wisdom, I'm not certain how this situation feels inside my heart. All I know for sure is that Ms. Adams, my music professor, doesn't have a good feeling about it and that I want him to get better just as they do.... Ms. Adams said that the first time this happened he started going to church and he got better. Well he's long since stopped going and she believes he went for the wrong reasons just so God would heal him. God did and now he's at that critical stage again and no one has heard any different.
Truth is I'm not only worried about Ms. Adams' brother's recovory, or thier family, but I'm also worried about Ms. Adams. She's 30 years old and has never lost anyone dear to her. I don't know of anyone who's lived that long and never suffer such a hardship. I'm terrified as to how it's going to affect her... more especially knowing that she doesn't take well to death anyway...
I know that regardless of what happens I'm going to be there for her to help her through anything but it still bothers me. So for those of you who are praying thank you...so very much. Take care and God bless you all. I'll talk to you all again soon.

I'm not here to be mean or anything, but you know, we all have to go sometime. Some earlier that others, there is a reason for us all to die. I know that people pray for god to heal them so they won't die, but you know, maybe he wants them back. I'm not the Chirsten religious type, but that is the way I would see it if anything. The reason you feel sad is the desire for him to stay, when really the best thing might be the other. I wish him and his family that fortune smiles on them. ^^ *comforts piano misstress*

I understand very well the longing of life and some of the reasons why people pray. I know that death is a reward, a release from life and all it's temptations that the world has to offer. I've lost enough to know and learned quick that lesson after my mother's death many years ago. Regardless of that fact, the reason I have asked for prayer is yes, I want Ms. Adams brother to get better but it's even more the fact that I'm worried about Ms. Adams if something happened and her brother did die. True, she is my music teacher but she is also my friend and a close one at that...
The fact of the matter is, she's never dealt with anything like losing someone close like that before. Most people deal with that throughout their entire lives but for some reason the cards were dealt differently for her. I worry for her... that's all. But regardless of what happens, I'm there for her. I just hope she knows that.

I hope he gets better because I have been praying for him the very first night that you talked of that terrible truth. I hope he gets better or at least have a great life of whats left of and not be suffering.

(Also piano misstress, you can use the edit button if you want to say something else in your post, just remember to not make another post unless someone else posts another post then you may make another post. Sorry if that is confussing, it actually sounds pretty confussing to myself. Anyway just while on the forums remember that unless you'd like to get yelled at by a mod, just telling you now so you'll now.)

Hello all,
I'm sorry to bother anyone if I am but I want to ask anyone that would to pray for my bf, his family, and most importantly his great grandmother. He called me late lastnight crying and told me that she had fallen down the stairs of her basement and that she was being life flighted to Evansville. He called this morning and told me that she's not doing well and that she had a dislocated shoulder and a 4 inch gash on her head.
I know how people value life... but even I know that death is as much of or greater a blessing... I just don't want them to feel what I've already felt.... So for those that will... please pray that God's will be done...
Thanks,
Piano Misstress

Sorry about barging in on your thread like this, but I too would like ya'll to pray for someone. My U.S. history teacher Mrs.Taylor lost her son Sunday (October 22nd 2006) in Iraq. He was on his nightly patrol and he got sniped. I don't know much else, but would you please pray for his safe entry into heaven, and easy grieving for Mrs.Taylor and her family.

I'm so sorry for your teacher's loss, Asuka. He's in a better place now, rather than in Iraq. :(

I'll pray that your boyfriend's grandmother will be alright, Destiny. Any news on her now??

@asuka: I send my condonences(sp?) for your teacher, hope they get the guy who shot her son

Oh and destiny you did mention it was your bf's great grandmother? i hope she'll get better, but i'm thinking it'll be hard for a person at that age to recover from injuries...

Thank you Maria, thank you everyone who's been praying for both my music professor, her family, and her brother and my boyfriend's great grandmother. I understand that it's probably going to be a long road for her but she is out of ICU now and on her way to recovery. As for Ms. Adams, I still don't know anything further about her brother. In any case your prayers are always needed and appreciated. And I will keep your teacher in my prayers as well, as will I you all. Take care and God bless.

Hi all,
I have updates on Ms. Adams brother. His cancer count is still going way up and they still can't find where the cancer is at. The only place they haven't checked yet is in his brain. The horiffic part about that is that if he has a tumor in his brain then.... he will die.... I'm worried for him... Ms. Adams and her family. Ms. Adams told me that her brother isn't telling anyone and the only reason she knew was because Ms. Adams' girlfriend called her. So those that will...please keep them in your prayers. Thank you so very much.

Well my teacher hasn't come back to school yet, though her plane is landing back in england on tuesday, though we dont know when she will start teaching again. She sent an email and said that all the letters the students sent her were very heart warming, but yeah, please continue to pray for her.
