I am just wondering if anyone has seen this movie before.
(I was originally requesting some sheet music and had been promptly told to go elsewhere so I guess I'll just advertise about the film here instead ^^)
For those piano music lovers out there, I urge you to see that movie if you haven't done so. The story is a bit daft in my opinion but the music is just absolutely amazing. For a starter, there is these two piano dudes in the film who decided to have a duel on the piano which is like one of the best movie moments ever. Also, it is the winner of best original score at Golden Globe 2000.
The piano music in the film ranges from jazz, ragtime all the way to some neo-classical and are written by the Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Most of them are pretty difficult and some of them are near impossible. I am pretty sure one of them (the last piano piece played during the duel) needs a minimum of three hands at least to play (in the movie, there's just one guy though with phantom arms going all over the piano :sweatdrop: ).
Watch it! If you like the piano I guarantee you'll like this film as well.
