I'm listening to the Winter one, and I like it very much. ^^ Somehow it makes me think of mountains more than snow, but it's still a very nice piece.

Edit : The rain one, the notes in the background really makes you think of rain. ^^ En gros, two very nice compositions. :D

I'm listening to the first one... Will edit later and add comments for ame..

Hm.. Since my general area has lots of snow during winter time, I tend to take it for granted. With this song, I can see flakes of frost gliding down on cool breezes in enchanted forests. ^__^ It's very pretty, and makes me want to bring up my Finale and write some music..

Okay, edit! The second one... This must be a very musical rain, since rain in the desert doesn't have this much of a classical feeling, X3. Nonetheless, a wonderful composition.

Winter:
it's very nice. I used to hear songs that have exposition and climax, and it is quite refreshing to hear some pieces that simply describe the nature.
However, there're some parts that I don't quite understand, say, the part that suddenly accelerates and gets intense towards the ending; it is very different from other parts of the piece - does it imply anything?

Rain:
it sounds very mysterious but somehow a bit random - I guess that's what rain does. I prefer Winter over this one, because I can't really visualize a rainy situation in this piece. Other than those it would be a very good composition.

Enhance Forest:
I also heard your CMA piece Enhance Forest, did you get your inspiration from Nyroeon? do you mean EnChanted Forest? ;)
anyways, that is a great piece, good dynamics, instrumentation and "imagery"-the ability to bring visual images to the audience through music. It sounds really pro. what software do you use to make it? it defintely has a better defined structure, and very easy to follow. Sure that's the best song I heard from you. good job! How long did it take you to compose this?

@ Winter

When I listen to this, I can honestly say I have n oclue when the song will start. I thought you made up a piano intro, but it kept going random later on when the flute was introduced. It would be better if you had a solid main part of this song, instead of making it up like this. The middle parts (~ 3 min) reminded me of snow, so that was good since it's entitled Winter. After that it went random again though. =_= It has some atmospheric quality, but as a song in overall it isn't as pleasurable as it should be.

@ Rain

Starts out mysterious and with a lot of good 'rainy' notes with the left hand. I sort of liked how you played a melody with the left hand and concentrated on keeping the rainy feeling with the right hand. I liked the intro, but it lost my interest at approx. 1min. Then, at 1:40, it got better again, but lost the rainy feeling to me. ;_; It had some good elements there but again, it lost my interest. Perhaps you should focus on a memorable theme for you songs, to symbolize the weather effects you're after. (I know, I keep nagging about melodic and memorable themes, so take it or leave it.) Good ending, also.
