Alright, so I downloaded the sheet music for the song I wanted off Ichigos' site but what program(s) will the file open with?

I believe this is in the wrong place, but to answer your question:
You'll need FINALE Notepad to play MUS files

If it's in a ZIP file, you'll need WINZIP to open them

Try Finale [Notepad]. 95% chance that's the one.

To answer your question:

ZIP -> Get Winrar and extract it's contents
MIDI -> Windows Media Player or equvelent
MUS -> Coda Music's Finale
PDF -> Adobe PDF Reader
GIF -> Any photo viewer

Don't worry, I'm not a noob, I've been in plenty of other forums before, just not acquainted with the topics in this one yet.

I should have specified...I heard the midi file, the PDF won't open because my computer's an idiot and I downloaded the MUS file but I don't have that Finale program...somewhere I can download it or is it something I have to buy?

There is five different programs in the finale series. The only one that's free is Finale NotePad; other you can get a demo of, but I'm not certain if they'll allow you to do what you want with it. You can find them all at http://www.codamusic.com/

ARGH! One more question. Will the .mus files only work with a certain version of Finale Notepad? I think I downloaded 2001 and it says the file is not compatible...
