not shure if this should go in this chatter section or the anime board or general intertainment, so if im mistaken please move this thread. (sorry for the inconvenience) (i checked for other con threads and i didnt see any in the sections or the search function, so sorry if theres already an existing thread that i missed)

personally i went to my first anime conference, AC3, in canada, ontario. IT WAS GREAT!!! it lasted 2 days! i met a pack of awesome people, saw anime, talked about it, bought it, it was truly wonderful! i was dressed as pyramid head. i played like 4 hours of halo XD , (oh god THE BODIES!!!(lol rocket match in a small map) boom. pistol headshot!) anywais, im curious if any other ichigo person went to AC3. (the dance was great!)

still trippin out about it!

Oh yeah, I had went to one in May. It was awesome. But the down side was we didn't get to see as much as I had wanted to though. But regardless I had a fun time. I have never seen so many anime fans in one setting that its scary. I had went to the one in my home state, Durrum, NC. It was called Animazment, a pretty clever name if you ask me.

There was a video game room for all the fighter games, there was a Guitar Hero game, and also you can't be without DDR. But if theres a game room, don't go to it because It was overly crowded and you could hardly move around because of all the video game players and spectators of said game players.

There were video rooms for different types of anime as well. I sure wish I could of known when certain shows were gonna be showed though.

There an art gallery aswell, and from what I saw, there are most certainly some talented anime artists out there. I wanted to buy some art, but they were very expensive. (Note to self, bring tons of cash to next anime con.)

Also there was ofcourse a dealer room where all the anime items dealers show there wares. It was mayhem! There people everywhere buying stuff and some people playing card games as well. I did want to buy a sword, but they were pretty pricey themselves. I did have enough money to buy one, but then I wouldn't have any place to take it because we had walked there. And as you may or may not know you can't carry around real weapons. You can carry around fake ones, just not real ones. But then I just decided to some much sought after anime at it in stead.

Now the best part of the convention was seeing everybody in cosplay. I wanted to cosplay, I just did not have any costumes. I'd like to tell you of all the cosplay costumes I say, but they were just so many that I just can't list them all.

Well thats about it for my anime convention, I hope to go to it again, but this time to get there earlier.

yeah i had to go to my friends house for a ride, that equaled a couple miles + carrying the WHOLE PHYRAMID HEAD COSTUME on my shoulders. the sword too and all. i got to then con at like 8am, left at 2am. THATS 26 HOURS OF CON!!! and thats awesome. then the next day i got there at 1pm and left at 7pm. i had so much POCKY!!!

Man, I would love to spend 26 hours at a anime convention straight. But I might tired after a while. But there are just some things you've got to endure for anime, right.

I worked at one and just walked around another >>
if you work you don't get to see much like angelic said, but even if you walk around there is no guarantee depending on the size of the con and scheduling.
A lot of my friends like to sell their art work, it's more fun to teach go ^^,
