A few signatures that I made.
^.^

I've worked with photoshop before ( still not know much though ), but I only started making signatures when I joined the forums...

The designs aren't bad at all. Watch out for blending/visibility issues....

For instance, the scanlines on the ilya one makes some of the text harder to see.

For the text, maybe try setting the blending mode to soft light (use either black or white text, and see which you like better), and if it's still not clear, perhaps try duplicating the soft light layer again. Play around and have fun with it :)

Very nice for a beginner. But I think the colour of the text for both of them clash just a bit. And I agree the text on the second one is a tad hard to read.

Oh. By the way, you spelt lullaby wrong.
..I never understand how people can spell things wrong on signatures. There's so little text, so there'e not much you could get wrong. And even after you add the finishing touches, save it, upload it, host it, and everything.. you still don't notice.

Damn it. I'm doing random b_tching again. I truly mean no offence to you.

Very nice for a beginner. Check out some tutorials.

I think you need some text and brushing improvment. Blending and all the other stuff kinda comes naturally for each sig you make.

Those are really nice. ^_^

In the second, the text is a little hard to make out, and in the first one something bothers me about the girl. By the way, you mispelled "lullaby." XD Sorry. I have like... grammar/spelling OCD.

Well, good job - especially for a beginner. Cool stuff. :)

Here are some others I made. This time I hope I made the text a little easier to read. I never know what to write on a sig. :P

And...
I think I have to stick to a dictionary when it comes to spelling words the correct way...
sorry 'bout that misspelled word...I'll be double checking now. (probably won't work with my set of brains)

To be honest, I didn't like the images you used in the first two. There's something unattractive about that person. oÔ A good sigs need all parts of it to be perfect. But the work you did on them is quite nice.
I think the last one is sexy, the best of the bunch, personally. :)

1st batch:

A: nice, I think the background kinda messes with the girl.
B: VERY good, horizontal lines kinda mes up the text (make em abit more subtle?) also hair mixes with background but looks ok.

2nd Batch:

I especially like first and last (especially last), 2nd one I don't like (looks good, just not my taste). 3rd looks a bit crowded to me, maybe move the girl a little more to the left so the text isn't so "on her".

All in all great work.

Lol, that third picture was a little risque.

Some good-amatuer-signatures. Keep it up, I like this simple style.

I've tried to learn something from some tutorials for photoshop, But brushing is still like magic to me...can't seem to understand how they get all those amazing effects...but ok.

These are a bit different in style.

I really love the third one.

Yeah, brushing kinda comes natural, just start experimenting--it'l work out eventually.

The last one's really good, and the second one too, except for some reason the text seems... IDK, wrong? :heh: It just kinda seems outta place. Other than that, cool stuff. Keep it up! ^_^

The text doesn't match the image on the second one; visually-wise, the text is pretty much "in context", just the way it looks doesn't match. And I don't really understand what's going on in the first one. But the last one is quite nice though I don't get why the line curves up as if if to separate the "INV" and the "4IN". Pretty though.

These are coming along quite well! You should try your hand at making a banner for the new Ichigo's site. Who knows, you just might win. ^_^

The one which I use as my sig now. That line is supposed to make it seem that the 4 is a "A"...guess it didn't really work.

Oh shit, I'm so stupid! I mistook your sig as one of them! Ha! I'm a tard! XD

Oh I understand that line now. I see things differently than most people. I'm probably the only one to make that mistake.

ThnX everyone

I think tutorials really helped me out to get of my lazy ass and try out all the features, even if the outcome isn't that good...at least you'll know what it does.
I was wondering...a sig isn't restricted to just things like brushing, filtering and edit/filling is it? Are there any other ways?

I took a shot at it. I made one and posted it.

This one supposed to have transparent sides, but somehow it doesn't work. I have photoshop CS2 and tutorials say that I have to follow the instructions given when I click : Help > Export Transparent Image. Am I doing something wrong?

Transparent for me, may be your browser?

IE6 doesn't support transparent PNG files. Simple fix is use Firefox (www.getfirefox.com), Opera (www.opera.com), or upgrade to IE7 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx). Note that if you have a pirated version of windows, IE7 refuses install.

I don't use IE, but maxthon. I guess I need to turn something on then.
