i want to see if i can organize a secret santa thing for our forum users. it will all be organized by me. all you have to do is say you want to join in. the final join in date is 12/20/06 i will send you a pm that says who your person is. please add an idea for a gift for you when you join in.

I'm an awful gift-maker though. All I have to my usage is a crappy computer, even crappier scanner, MS Paint and a digital camera. I'm more in the prose category of gift-giving.

How the hell would you go about doing a Secret Santa on an online forum?

as far as I can tell, ME411 would take the names of all of the participants and then use some sort of random method to assign each person a name, then you would make a sig or whatever for the person you got.

actually, i'm not good at all at making sigs, but i'll try to :heh:

as far as secret goes we can just have it all filter through one person. after we get who we are giving to we just give all the gifts with recipients names to someone so it's still secret.
It doesn't have to be a sig, that's just a suggestion like siul said just make them feel special. it can anything that you wouldn't normally do.

you can send it directly to your partner whenever you want so they can thank you. you can finish your gift when you finish it then you pm it to your partner DIRECTLY!

It doesn't neccisarly have to be a sig. ME411 probably puts half the names in a hat and draws out matches for the rest. Just a guess.
