James Kim's dead body was lifted up by helicopter today off in an Oregon woods. Well respected man, reviewer of Cnet and proud tv man of the former TechTV, but foremost a proud family man of two children.

Its so sad, but a bit creepy because its so close to my home.

He was on a trip to meet people when he and his family became stranded in a stuck car, so after a day discussing with his wife on where to try and find help he set out on foot. Apparently he was disoriented from possible Hypothermia which lead to bad things.

It was just on the news here. The Dutch news =_= Sorry to hear that he died, though I don't understand why it has to be on the Dutch news. I bet nobody around here heard about the 8 year old kid who got stabbed to death at his school by a 22 year old man a few days ago.

Kim, 35, left his family's stranded car Saturday morning searching for help and never returned. Kim apparently traveled in an 8-mile circle and was found less than a mile, separated by a sheer cliff, from where his family's station wagon got stuck in the snow. Officers said there was no way to determine whether he was trying to return to his starting point or if he became disoriented.

"He was very motivated...he traveled a long way," Josephine County Undersheriff Brian Anderson said.

Poor guy..

Hmm, yea. Isn't really international news unless TechTV is/was brodcasted worldwide. But he was on Cnet.
