I really have no excuse for not having this done. Please forgive me. However, I'll post what I already have. I hope you don't mind .mus

A few notes:

This is supposed to be played freely, especially meas. 17. It was hard figuring out the rythym, so I fudged it. :heh:

The downbeat of meas. 33 may be off. Or it may be because of the playback which is not the best quality.

This is also for meas. 51 the and of 4. The d f# third. Just play with it.

That's pretty good. I checked out the song and transcription for curiosity's sake, and because I remembered liking the vocal version of the song...

I couldn't actually hear the left hand part very well for m. 17, but the rhythm in the right hand, I'm pretty sure, is just half note triplets (with the last note in it's own measure with an eighth rest before and a quarter rest after).

Thanks. Now that I see it written out it makes sense. I just don't think of half note triplets that often. :rolleyes:

Haha, you're welcome. I can understand about the triplets. If it weren't for one of the solos I've been working on recently I can't absolutely guarantee I'd have thought of them either.

The triplets didn't fit. They're too fast for the music.

Ashantelle I'm so sorry, but this piece was harder than I originally thought. I'm going to open it up for another person to finish. I'll continue to work on it in bits, but I've got to put this on the backburner. Again, I'm sorry.

I've got a little bit more done, but not much.

I probably won't for a couple of weeks, but if nobody beats me to it, I'll give it a go.

EDIT: So little done and still mistakes. Really the point of the post was to say that I was finally working on it...

I've gotten to a point where I can finally start working on transcriptions again (though next week is another busy one). At this point all I've done is fix that one/two measure place we talked about before (You're right that it wasn't triplets but what I tried this time sounded right) and I've added one measure of left hand. I'm faster with string stuff because that's what I play, mostly.
So, yeah, that's the progress, or lack of it. I'll try to keep you both informed on how well or poorly it's going.

So, I lost my internet connection, had computer problems, got a crazy new job... and totally failed to do *any* of the things I promised here. To conclude: I suck.

I asked a friend of mine to work on the project. He's a genius with transcription. Unfortunately he's a typical genius in that it's difficult to get him to do anything that he hasn't decided on for himself...

I feel your pain. I've even made it my personal project, and it's harder for me since I rely on programs to identify notes.

I'm at least a third done. I'm proud of that. If I finish it--which I highly doubt that it will be soon--I'll share it in this forum.
