I recently got Finale Notepad 2007, which is great for opening the files on the Ichigo's forums (considering it's new). Then I read a post that talked about how someone could not access the .mus files on the forums. I later learned that he could not access the files because his program was obsolete (it was an older version). I fear that when new versions of Finale will come out, it will cause the current version that I own to become obsolete as well, making any new files inaccesible.

For future reference, how will I be able to upgrade my version when the new version comes out?
