I have SNES, GBA and N64 emulators and my favorite ROMs are Bomberman (all of them), Zelda (all too), Harvest Moon 64, Wario Ware GBA...

What are your favorite ROMs and where did you get them?

Mystery Dungeon was pretty fun. My favorite would probably be FE 7, because my stupid friend lost mine and his DS when I loaned it to him..... that frickin dumbass..... >_>

Emulators and ROMs are illegal, you are not allowed to post where you can get them and such. Though I'm not sure if you can discuss it...

Emulators with console BIOS that are still licensed are illegal, but if you talk about them without a console BIOS (meaning you'd have to find a BIOS written from scratch) it is legal. This is why many emulator sites ship their programs without BIOS and you have to find one.

Also, you have rightful possession of any ROM if you own the game (follows the "one archival backup copy" rule). There's also a clause stating that you can have a ROM that you do NOT OWN for 48 hours for trial purposes. See Angelic's post

------

With that matter cleared, my favorite ROM would have to be Gunstar Heros for Genesis. Golden axe II, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Streets of Rage...

Yeah... I'm a Genesis child.

The "You can use a ROM for xx hours for trial purposes" rule is not true. If you don't own the original then it's illegal to download copyrighted software or duplicate it in any other way.

Other than that, I have a collection of SNES Roms which should include basically all games ever released for SNES.

The thread is fine as long as it's not used to link to illegal materials (Roms and Bios files).

Well, if it's ok...
I think the best ones for SNES are Chrono Trigger, Zelda - A Link to the Past, Super Mario World and FF3 (FF3 Rocks!!!)

I've got a great N64 emu, and the N64 Zelda's for it. I own, the system and games, it's just that I've beaten them, and want to use gameshark codes without ruining my game. The N64 Gameshark was notorious for this.
