I'm with diedthrice. I'd really like the Theme of the Celestials as well. That's one of my favorite songs on the whole album, right next to Rising Sun. Of course. ^^ I'd also like Emperor of Eternal Darkness... it's not my favorite, but I still love it, and some parts sound like a lot of fun to play. Especially the beginning.

YEah . . . .Now I'm soratr obsessed with Oki, the hero. The Celestial's theme isn't my cup of tea though, too . . . .too . . . I don't know. I don't recall Emperor of Darkness, is that before "The Sun Rises" is played, ya know, before your powers are taken for a SECOND time (grrr. . . .)?

But yeah, it's escpecially fun playing it on the flute, Oki . . .ALL of the flute parts with Okikurmi are AWESOME! ^__^

Oki's music is beautiful. :3 When I first unlocked the jukebox in the game, Oki the Hero and Rising Sun were the two I listened to all the time. Then it changed... Wep'keer, Kamui, Ryoshima Coast, Kushinada, Yami. XD I love Yami's song... (yes, that's the one during the first part of the battle.) I find it one of the most amazing pieces in the game. The piano version's okay, but I like the normal version more. As for Theme of the Celestials, I find the piano version much nicer. I kinda figured out some of it on my own...
I'm practicing Cursed Shinshu Field on the piano right now. It's going quite well, considering that I haven't played piano in years. I did play flute, though, so I still remember the notes. ^^;

Ooohhhkay! :D Here's Emperor of Eternal Darkness. Sorry it took so long! I'll try to be quicker for the Celestials' Theme. :heh:

Anyway.. this is the best that I could do. There are probably a couple of mistakes that I didn't catch, and I'm still not sure about some of the left hand, but I think it's pretty close (?) Anyway, I know that measure 87 is wrong (~1:50 in the song) because you need to change the time signature, which I can't do in Notepad, at least as far as I know. Also, there's a sequence that shows up twice that I couldn't get, haha.. you'll find it in measures 62-3 and somewhere else later in the song. That's as close as I can get, but if you figure it out and let me know, I can change it in the music! :)

Sorry if you read all of that, I probably rambled. xD Here's the music!

Anywho, here's Reset for all of you who've asked for it. In some bits, the left hand is a twinge off (measure 47, here's to you!), so any help correcting is well appreciated!

My favorites at the moment are Kaguya's Journey and Inside the Water Dragon. So much fun. (There's a mistake or two in the latter, but nothing major...)

I want to learn to play the shakuhachi this summer, and since it sounds really cool when played with piano (exhibit A: "The Wind and the Wolf" by Keiko Matsui). I might rearrange some of the Okami songs to allow for shakuhachi parts and then play them with a friend. If I do, I'll try to post the flute/piano duet versions here...

Um... there's a relatively inexpensive one called the Shakuhachi Yuu, it's made from "ABS plastic resin" but looks like bamboo and sounds just like it. That's $125, though. I found some inexpensive, informal ones from someone on DeviantArt. (You can find them if you go and search 'shakuhachi'.) She has an Etsy store with a few for $30-40.
You can also make them out of PVC pipe. Apparently they sound pretty good.
