"Akumas," the name given to those who corrupt the very fabric of society. Their goal is to destroy, destroy, and destroy under the order of Count Millennium. Created by science, evil, and tragedy, these weapons of destruction roam the land during the nineteenth century.

The only one who can stop them are the Black Religious Group. An organization of exorcists created to destroy the Akuma. The goal of this group is simple: Retrieve the mysterious power "Innocence," scattered across the world.

"Innocence" is rumored to be the weapons of the gods and can destroy the Akumas. Of course, the Count knows this as well and has sent the Akumas to recover and destroy the 79 Innocence around the world.

Allen Walker is one of these exorcists. He is a "Cursed," a name given to those who created and is possessed by an Akuma. Trained under the exorcist, Cross, Allen Walker begins his quest under the Black Religious Group.

MainCharacter: Allen Walker

So what I personally think of it. It's sort of like Vampire Knight the art I mean. It's a bit gothic styled and the plot line is pretty intresting. It relates to religion and questions it through a person's innoncence~
The anime also has really good battles with awesome weapons and skills, so it's action packed.
Plus the main character is a really cute kid and lots of fun to watch

Try it ;)

Well, you can buy them. We're not allowed to post links to places where you can download pirated anything including episodes. If you really want to watch it buy it or you're on your own.

Actually, D. Gray Man is still unlicensed. So long as you don't live in Japan, you're kinda in the clear. Note that I say "kinda"; the cops can still bust you if they like (don't confuse Licensing with Copyright; two different things), it's just unlikely to happen. If they did, I would be the 497th person to be arrested, and fansubbing groups would be completely eradicated.

It's available on Animesuki fansubbing torrents, which is also another sign of the aforementioned.

On topic, the name of this anime puts me off. I don't know why, but it just sounds stupid to say. Superficial? Yes. Am I still going to watch it? You bet.

Grey is how you spell Gray in Australia and England. However, I think it's officially following the American spelling.

Usually, the manga is better than the anime. I have yet to see the anime, but I'm really loving the manga.

Re: What does "D.Gray Man" mean? In Q&A pages in Volume 3 of the Viz manga, Hoshino answers that question:

"It's a word I made up and has various meanings. It could apply to Allen and the other characters as well... On a separate note, I was tihnking "Dolls" for the title before I came up with "D.Gray Man." Other titles I came up before that were "Chronoa" and "Zone""

Soooo, no real explanation XD

Does anyone know when the rest of D. Gray man is gonna be released. I heard that It stopped cause the TV writers wanted to give some space between the anime and the manga.

so far the manga in still on hiatus after releasing a few more chapters. At the rate things are going, it might even be a year before they continue with the anime again.
