Ok, has anybody here played any Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney games on the DS? I sure have and they are fun. I hope more come out in the future. So far, Im playing "Phoenix Wright~Ace Attorney-Justice For all". Anybody else playing these games or is it only me? *Prays that somebody that has either played one or has heard of it*

You know, you can order it off online, if its unavailable in your area. I got the first one at EB games. But then I pre-ordered the second game for fear that the day it came out there might not be any copies left. I really like the games. Im almost finished with the second one. Man, there just aren't enough cases to quench my thirst for courtroom style games. But believe me this how the episodes are set up. The first episode is like a tutorial, you go directly to court, there is no investigation in the first episode because you already have all the evidence. Then the other episodes are like this: first you talk to your client, then search the scene of the crime among various other places (like a detectivem, your searching for evidence, but there already is a detective so your not really one), find evidence to support why your client is not guilty by cross-examing the witnesses testimony, and these court sessions can go on for quite a while so if you feel the need to stop, you can even save from the spot you left off with (which is one of the cool features). But its not going to a easy ride, because your up against the prosecuter (the attourney that is trying to find the defendent guilty). This game can take a while to finish if you get stuck, but since there aren't too many episodes, I think you should finish in around a few weeks, maybe less for faster people. But don't think "aww its about court, court is very boring so I don't think I'll like it." These games might just be the best DS games around so at least try them. Oh, and get used to hearing ojection! alot because it happens alot in the game.

@JF7X-Why did your brother stop playing? These are good quality games.

@Shade- Hold It! (Another phrase you'll be saying alot in the game, you use it to press the witness for details about certain parts of their testimony.) Have you ordered one yet, if its not in your local video game store, just try to order online. Its really easy to find a place online that has copies of the games.

Aww, circuses creep you out? I thought that was a really cool episode too.

Don't look at the spoiler if you haven't beaten the case yet, okay?
What a weird way to kill somebody you never really intended to kill for any reason, but with the intent of killing some else in same way you killed the guy you just killed. Yeah thats a little hard to follow, but once you win the case you should be able to understand what i'm saying.

And thats all im going to say about it, not to give away hints whatsoever. But if anybody here has a problem in an episode, please feel free to ask.

@ azarath33- What does the front cover say? If Phoenix Wright is in big letters then its the first, but if Ace Attourney is in big letters its the second, but you should be able to tell the difference if it says "Justice For All".

Oh yeah, just to let you guys know, I finished the second game about one to two weeks ago.

Okay, have you started it yet? If you haven't then try to find the first, if you can. Because you might get confussed on some of the things in the second one that relate to the first.

I'm currently playing Phoenix Wright (at episode 5). GREAT game. I also bought the US version of Justice For All. I hear Justice For All is a rather short game. Haven't played it yet though.

Gyakuten Saiban 4 (Phoenix Wright 4) is coming out in Japan soon, looks good.

pianocrazy90

Well, it can be. But it took me quite a few hours on some of the cases. And by quite a few I mean about 5 to 8+ (thats around the time to complete each of the cases excludeing the first of both games). Either Im just slow or these cases actually take a little bit more time than you'd like to. And on some cases, they go into cases that they already thought they (the court and all other legal people) solved in the past before Phoenix became a D.A, but the truth reveals its self sooner or latter. (Defense attorney) So they will take more than a few hours at the very least.

@ Kozco- All im ready for is just the third one now, come on. So you don't mind translateing games or am I just assuming. Because you say your playing the fifth episode of the first is what I think you meant, but you say you have yet to play the U.S. version. Conclusion: your playing the Japanese version of the first Phoenix Wright. Now am I just blabbering nosense or am I right? Don't feel like I'm questioning you, I just thought that I'd have some fun and im just curious too, because you were a little vague on the what you said.

I edited my post. I accidently named Justice For all...Ace Attorney ARGH >.<
But yes, i'm on the 5th episode of Ace Attorney and have yet to play Ace Attorney: Justice For All (US Version). Hope that's clear now =)

Hey... so #4 is coming and there is a free demo for those that want.
http://gs4.isamedia.org/ Translated into english by the nice people at Court Records. Have fun guys. but please... don't get so caught up that you get noise complaints from people hearing you yell "Objection"

pianocrazy90
April 10th, 2007, 03:49 am
Well first, good find! But its not completely translated into English. The first part was, but then all the text went to question marks. And then it went to Japanese in the courtroom. But I guess nevertheless its cool that you found this. I just waiting for the third one right now. Sorry but I can't read Japanese. I wanted to learn it as my second language, but they don't teach it at my school.

Hey, I'm the newbie, and yeah I'm a Phoenix fan. You don't have to apologize, it's cool (pianocrazy90).
Yeah, so anyways, I just beat JFA on the 13th. It's a great game, and I can't wait for Trials and Tribulations in September. It's gonna be jawsome!

pianocrazy90
April 15th, 2007, 02:26 am
Aww man, I was going to tell ya'll about that. Oh well, Its cool. Isn't PW3 going to have Mia Fey in it as a Defense attorney?

Gyakuten Phoenix
April 15th, 2007, 02:31 am
Oops! Sorry about that! Heh heh heh... -.-;;

So anyways, I'm not sure about the Mia thing, but I do know that it should be coming out around the 25th of September this year. It's gonna be great. Although I can't say the same for number four...

pianocrazy90
April 15th, 2007, 02:35 am
The 25th! Thats my birthday as a matter of fact. Won't that be a good birthday present. Have you seen the trailer for the third one yet? Because thats where I saw that Mia maybe on the game. The 4th one will probably come out some time later next year.

Gyakuten Phoenix
April 15th, 2007, 02:38 pm
No, actually I haven't seen the trailer for the 3rd one yet. Mia will probably be in the game, but she died, right? How could you play as her, unless maybe Maya uses her spirit medium powers. So if you can play as Mia, I would think that in fact you were playing as Maya. But that's just my opinion. As for the fourth game, I don't think it will do as well as the first three... For reasons yet to be mentioned... (Spoiler Warning)...

pianocrazy90
April 16th, 2007, 01:25 am
Actually, I believe the third one will take place before Phoenix becomes an attorney. You know, when Mia was a defense attorney earlier on. Oh, and you can see that trailer if you go to www.court-records.net, and then you see the update for 4/14/07. It will talk about Capcom confirming the third Phoenix and the trailer link to it. I can't remember the actual link for the third trailer, but just go to that site and you should find it. And why do you think the fourth one won't be as good as the first three?

Gyakuten Phoenix
April 16th, 2007, 01:51 am
Firstly, I didn't know it was a prequel. Thanks for clearing that up. Secondly, thanks for the link. The trailer looks really good. Lastly, the fourth game isn't going to do as well for the following reasons:

Warning! Spoiler Alert!

1. Phoenix was apparently fired from being an attorney, so he has a job as a piano-player in a local bar. (Although, he says he makes more money gambling with the customers.)

2. The new guy (his English name has yet to be revealed) doesn't look anything near as cool as Phoenix. In fact, I think he looks like a twelve-year-old kid.

3. The new guy's partner is a magician. A MAGICIAN!!! Talk about ripoff! By my standards, that's pretty lame.

4. The prosecutioner is a rock-star! I can't even put the words together about how I dislike that idea! It's just so... Eyaghh!

I, personally, wouldn't buy the game. I would still play it, like borrow it from a friend, but I wouldn't spend any of my money on it.

pianocrazy90
April 16th, 2007, 02:07 am
Well, yeah it might not be as a good as the first three by those points you made. But you never know. Sure there might not be as much drama, but I don't think that will diminish the value and complexity of each case you do.
For sure Im going to by it no matter what because Im out to get them all and also say I solved everyone of them. I've seen how most of the characters look and yeah the main character does look young. I think his name was Orodoki or something like that. A magician is different and odd, but you can't really know what to expect from that. Now about the Prosecuter, now thats definitely weird. But the Japanese are different people and they think differently than we do, so either way I can't wait for it. Also when I look at a games standards I look mainly at the gameplay value, not particurly at the characters, so I'll be the judge about this and see for my self.

Gyakuten Phoenix
April 16th, 2007, 12:14 pm
True, true... You make a very good point. I do enjoy the different crime scenarios, but I still think the fourth game is really weird. I would still enjoy playing it, just not as much as the first three.

pianocrazy90
April 18th, 2007, 02:34 am
You might be right about the fourth, but then you may never know. I wish the second one had more cases though. I just can't wait for the third one!

Gyakuten Phoenix
April 26th, 2007, 12:32 pm
Heh heh heh... I did some more looking-into the fourth game, and it might not be as bad as I first estimated... It actually has some nice features that the first three didn't have, but I don't want to spoil anything unless I have to... So, yeah, I probably will still buy it. It doesn't seem too bad anymore.

P.S. Yeah, I know what you mean about JFA. It did need more cases.

pianocrazy90
April 27th, 2007, 12:57 am
OBJECTION! See before you said "I, personally, wouldn't buy the game. I would still play it, like borrow it from a friend, but I wouldn't spend any of my money on it." And know you made a complete 360 turn because now you say you will buy it, instead of borrowing it. See thats the power of Phoenix Wright. But if you'd like to mention these new features in say a spoiler box, then I wouldn't mind.

Woah, haven't posted here in a while. So, yeah, pianocrazy90, about the fourth, I know, I know, it was a complete "Turnabout" (lolz, bad pun) if I may say so.

The new features in the fourth game are pretty cool. You can zoom in on witnesses to gather information about them (such as nervousness) with Odoroki's left arm. It's called the Minuku System in Japanese. It also brings back the forensics feature from the first game. That's all I know, I think...

MOD EDIT: Spoiler (http://forums.ichigos.com/misc.php?do=bbcode) tags work nicer.

Wow, has there been an increase in fans of Phoenix on Ichigos lately? Thanks you guys for posting here about it. Without you guys this thread would be nothing.

@ Gyakuten Phoenix-Anyways those new features sound great. I can't wait for both the third and the fourth. And no that pun did sound funny, I should of said that in my last post, oh well.

Also, do any of you know if the PW sheet music is coming out soon? I really want some of those songs!!!

In umber 4 isnt it some one else instead of phoenix?

pianocrazy90
May 15th, 2007, 04:08 am
@GP-Well, Ninsheetmusic has like 1 or 2 sheet music but they are in MUS form.

@JF7X- Yeah its someone else. But get this though, I believe he is really young though too. Sorry I don't know too much about #4.

Gyakuten Phoenix
May 19th, 2007, 12:43 am
Actually, contrary to my first opinion, (another "Turnabout" if I may say so) Odoroki only [I]looks young. He's actually 22. He is younger than Phoenix was in his first game (24), but still not uber-young. Phoenix is still in the fourth game, but he's not a playable character. If any of you haven't read my spoilers or don't want to read them, then I can't tell you any more info (go read the spoilers if you want to know). The one thing I wish they did was put more cases in the new games! Other than that, the new games should pwn.

P.S. Aww! .Mus files? I don't know how to open those on my computer...

pianocrazy90
May 19th, 2007, 12:56 am
Thanks for setting me straight there GP. Yes the new games do need more cases, but if they did that then it would be like 3-5 years before they would come out with another one. Phoenix games take about a year or more to get over here (this includes localization, translation, and transportation) in North America. Now I would want more cases in the new games as much as the next guy, but if it meant waiting 3-5 years before getting another then I'd still wait but I might get tired of the games and just not play them anymore.

Sorry about those .Mus files, you see I can't get them open on my computer either so don't feel left out because I can't the sheet music either.

Gyakuten Phoenix
May 19th, 2007, 01:17 am
Wow... Did I come off a tad harsh? Woo... Now that I read it, heh heh... Umm, I wasn't trying to sound the slightest of any emotion. Err, yeah... So if any of you can open .Mus files on your computers, could you post the sheet music as an image file? Oh, but not on this forum. Err, yeah... You know...

pianocrazy90
May 19th, 2007, 01:46 am
Oh no you didn't come off hard. I had just reacted too harshly. Sorry I can't help you with that .Mus sheet stuff because as I have stated before, I can't open it on my computer.

Now any new news anyone? Does anyone need help with the game or something? Because I would be glad to help out the best I can because thats mainly what this thread is for other than for new news of the future Phoenix games.

Yeah, I just came back from the anime convention and you know what I saw in the dealers room? It was in the imported video game section. Have you figured it out yet, well it was Gyakuten Phoenix 4! Too bad it was in Japanese otherwise I would have bought it. Also in the convetion they held a Phoenix Wright mock trial. Im not going to talk about the first trial due to very bad things of which Im not going to say. By the way the Phoenix there was a black guy! It was different I can tell you that. He also had the hair of Phoenix too. He put like some black foam on a bike helmit. Oh I was on the jury as well! The way they did this was they threw out apple juice bottles and whoever caught them could come up to be on the jury. Its a very tedious job I can tell you that, you have to listen to the whole case and decide if the defendent is guilty or not. Of course he was not guilty. But it was also hearing him say "OBJECTION!". Well there were even people who cosplayed as Phoenix Wright characters, Phoenix, Edgeworth, Ema (From case five in the first game), Maya, Franziska, and Larry! It was so awesome I wish that I got pictures. Well thats about it. Oh yeah this trial was from Midnight to half after one.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 2nd, 2007, 08:46 pm
Yeah, Phoenix Wright would be insanely hard if you couldn't understand what you were doing. Gotta wait for the English version. That convention sounds like it was fun. Were the cosplayers costumes any good?
Anyways, I've found the sheet music for the Steel Samurai theme/ringtone, but I don't know if I should post it on the "Sheet Music Requests" forum or somewhere else. Should I post it here?

pianocrazy90
June 3rd, 2007, 02:17 am
Yeah, the cosplayers were very good, they seemed to be all in character. I was happy to have gone. But still you must watch out for these conventions. You see there was a case that I really don't want to talk about; it was very inappropriate. But nonetheless I thought the panal was good. I hope its better next year thats if they do it next year.

Aww, man you found the sheet music! Thats wonderful. Now Im not sure what you should do with it. You can try to post it up here I don't see why not, or if you want to post it on that first thread you made about it that would be great. Or if you want to send it to me through PM. Because I really want it.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 3rd, 2007, 06:28 pm
Ok, I'll post it here I guess. Just a reminder to everyone else, I FOUND these sheets. I do not take any credit for creating them, nor should you give me any. Otherwise I'll get in trouble. Capisce? Also, the one titled "Courtroom" is actually supposed to be "Examination Moderate". I don't know why it is incorrectly titled. And the Ringtone is actually the ringtone, not the whole Steel Samurai theme. I don't know where to get the whole theme yet.

Err... How do I post files from my own computer onto these forums???

P.S. pianocrazy90, about the "inapropriate" Phoenix skit at the convention...
It didn't happen to have anything to do with Phoenix and Edgeworth being a homosexual couple, did it? Because I hear it's a (horribly terrible) "joke" among some people who've played the games.

Gyakuten Phoenix

pianocrazy90

Well, Im not sure how you post them. But my guess wound be to just copy and paste them, but thats probably not how you do it. If that doesn't work just ask some moderator for help, preferably the one in charge of the sheet music request forum. Oh yeah I did see that they labled the title of the song wrong. And also not to be disliking to the song but who would sit at a piano and play that for a couple of minutes. Its just a too boring of a song. They need to get other ones that have 'some' key movement.

Directed toward last comment- No 'they' weren't HS, but one of their cases were of the sort. It had to do with SH. If you don't know what that is just PM me for it, because I rather not say it here. This was between two male characters from Narato. And it was really inappropriate.
But the last one the did was appropriate. Im not saying not to go to these things. Im just saying to keep your mind open and clean because there will be some slander somewhere you can guarantee it. But really it wouldn't matter if you didn't go to these conventions because it happens almost everywhere. Just be prepared for some bad things. Because there are bad people who will pervert some very serious panels, that can be fun, into bad currupted topics.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 4th, 2007, 02:17 pm
Oh, I think I get it. That's pretty disturbing. Pretty VERY disturbing. Anyways... I like the Examination Moderate song... Well, I like the Allegro one alot better, but the Moderate one is still ok... I'd play it... Also, I want to find the Dick Gumshoe theme. It's cool.

pianocrazy90
June 5th, 2007, 02:58 am
Yeah, thats also a very good one as well. I also like the ones for each character too. You know like their separte theme like the one you mentioned.
And I also like the ones where you find some decisive evidence that so and so did commit the murder. And I also like many more. It might just be best to buy a PW sheetmusic book. Or just buy the soundtracks and then get somebody to transcribe them.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 5th, 2007, 12:14 pm
Actually, I know where to download the soundtrack for free. But I might break a rule or something if I post it on the board, so if you want, I'll PM it to you.

pianocrazy90
June 6th, 2007, 02:35 am
Nah, don't give it to me. It might be illegal period. Oh well I guess Im just going to have to wait untill the make a piano sheetmusic book. Well Im playing PWAA:JFA again. Im just doing this for fun at least untill PWAA:TAT comes out.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 7th, 2007, 10:27 pm
Yeah, right now I'm replaying the first one, and after I'll play JFA. Oh, would you know if Phoenix is playable in the third game? Because if he is, I've found a contradiction...

pianocrazy90
June 8th, 2007, 03:23 am
Well Im not sure if he is or isn't, but I think only some of the cases are flashbacks ofcourse I could be wrong. And you don't have to say anything about this contradiction (well you can if you want, Im sorry that Im being terribly rude. Please forgive me!) because yes the first actual case he actually did was in the first case in the first game. But yeah though if he is and all the cases are flashbacks then yes thats indeed a contradiction. But if they are all flashbacks I would think you would be controling Mia Fey for the cases. Now all these statements I have made are just assumptions and they won't be held against me in the future if Im wrong and also these are just assumptions of what GP was going to state as a contradiction. Because if it was someother kind of contradiction then please state it now with evidence. Nah, Im sorry I just wanted to sound like the judge because you know in every case he asks for evidence to state a contradiction in someones testimony.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 8th, 2007, 12:31 pm
Aww... That was the contradiction I had... Lolz.
Blarg... I was wrong anyways. The Mia case is a flashback case.

pianocrazy90
June 9th, 2007, 01:15 am
Oh, you mean Mia's case. Woops I thought you meant Phoenix having cases before the his first case in game one. See you were right, I was just saying if you were to be playing flashback cases you could only play Mia because Phoenix wouldn't have even been an attorney. Thats all.

Im thinking of becoming an defense attorney in the future. What about you GP? I know it will take 8 years of college but it will be worth it. Attorneys make the big money but thats not my only reason though. Also because I like defense attorneys and how they do the unthinkable by getting not guilty for their clients. Good old Perry Mason and Matlock. And also I looks like the only job that really appeals to me.

Gyakuten Phoenix

Wow really? That's so cool. I don't really want to be a lawyer, though, because there is so much paperwork! Hours and hours! I'm interested in law, and I wouldn't mind being an attorney, if there weren't so much paperwork. Also, I'm not very talkative, so I wouldn't do very well. I am taking law next year however.

Speaking of money... I don't seem to remember Phoenix ever getting paid. Do you remember which cases he actually got paid for?

pianocrazy90
June 9th, 2007, 06:23 pm
Hey, Im not very talkative myself. But when I need to be I can. Actually Im probably one of the most quiet people in my class. But when Im talking to my friend or my sister my mouth goes off the handle. Yeah alot of questions you have to ask when doing the job.

Well the game doesn't say he did, but he was talking about sometimes that he might not make to rent because of lack of cases. But he does get paid regardless in some way otherwise he would be out of bussiness.

Wow your allowed to take law in school? Your only 15! Wow either Canada has better learning opportunities or ours is just deprived.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 10th, 2007, 04:33 pm
Yeah, I know what you mean. I can hardly say a sentance to anyone I don't know, unless I absolutely need to. I am very hard-pressed to do presentations at school by myself. Good thing I don't take very many classes which I would have to.

Yes, he must have recieved payment for some of his cases, but I'm pretty sure that a few of them were free. Like the Maya one. How could she afford to pay him? I doubt she did (with cash). He is still really poor for a lawyer.

Yes, a law course is offered at my school for grade 11 and 12 students. It's in the "business" section of our course selection. The grade 11 course is only about Canadian law, and the grade 12 course is Canadian and International law. I'm surprised it's not offered at your school.

pianocrazy90
June 11th, 2007, 03:11 am
Well I do know everybody in my class, but I just don't like talking to them partly because Im shy and because they don't like me. And because of that they ignore me. And I don't like doing presentations myself but I have had to do them in my English class.

Im sure he received payment for the Maya case because Mia must have had some money for Maya if something were to happen like a will or something. Maybe Maya did pay him but just not a whole lump sum of cash though. You know like $100 dollars or something along those lines.

Yeah our school is small and it doesn't have specialty classes or courses. Its mainly just your average high school classes. And thats cool how you are 15 and going into 11th. Wow thats quite amazing. You must be really smart. Im 16 and going into 11th myself. I should actually be in grade 12 but when I was really young my mom held me back from going on ahead into 1st grade and so I just got another kindergarten year. Not that I didn't pass my mom just wasn't comfortable with my going into 1st grade at the moment.
So yeah I can't believe your so young but going into 11th grade.

I have another question for you how many people go to your school? There's about 60 something people in my high school.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 11th, 2007, 07:48 pm
Oh no no no. You must have misunderstood me. Yes, I am really smart, (lolz ^^) but I didn't skip a grade. I just have a birthday late in the year. I will turn 16 in 2007, just after summer break. I'm in the standard grade for my age-group.

Only 60 people? Do you know them all? I mean, There are probably over 60 different people in my first two classes combined. My school has at least a thousand students, and I'm positive there are more. Then again, I do go to a public school. There aren't many private schools around my area that I know of.

pianocrazy90
June 12th, 2007, 02:51 am
Yeah, I know all their names. They are easy to remember. We have about 21-22 students in my class. Wow over a thousand is alot!

AHAHAHAHAA! Yes! No, wait. I'm still in a general state of BROKE from my DS + game + clothing splurge a couple weeks ago. Nooooooo~ I guess I can wait, as I'm still running through another game at the moment.

But this is very good news. Thank you; you've made my day!

Well you do have enough time. The game isn't released untill September the 4th, so you should have enough time to preorder. And remember you pay for the game when you get the game, unless your store does it differently.

Umm... I thought it was coming out on the 25th...? Unless Wikipedia is lying to me... Those jerks. They're gonna pay... PLUS I don't think there's any release dates for PWAA:T&T on Court-Records dot net...

pianocrazy90
June 20th, 2007, 05:24 am
It might be, but Im just going on from what the game websites told me. Maybe you mean the release for Canada? Or do both countrys get them at the same time?

BTW the 25th just so happens to be my birthday, so if the date is the 25th then I will have a very happy birthday!

Gyakuten Phoenix

Well actually Wikipedia says the release date for North America, and if I'm not mistaken, US and Canada are in Europe, right? (LOLZ) Yeah, but seriously, that's cool how PWAA:T&T's release date would fall on your birthday. Heh, it's kind of like T&T's birthday too... In English... No?

pianocrazy90

Yeah, your right it would be. And don't I feel honored by that. But you know who elses birthday falls on my birthday right? Will Smith's! You know he has done many movies and some shows as well like the Fresh Prince of Bel-air.
But anyway I wonder when its coming out. I'll have to preorder soon. Im not sure if preorders get a special gift this time. But nevertheless I will preorder.
I can't wait!

Well, this thread hasn't been active in a while. Time to recharge it a little. In my art thread in the graphics section, I've posted a PW wallpaper that I made. Inspired by a wallpaper I saw at www.court-records.net, except this one is... Well, go look at it for yourself.

Oh so that sig was made by you? Well than fantastic job! I can't do anything artsy. So good work! Phoenix Wright would be proud, in fact you might even be able to design the art on the PW game boxes. Now thats talent!

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 28th, 2007, 02:31 am
Wow thanks! That's awfully nice of you to say. Actually, for one of my computer classes I designed the box covers for a "Miles Edgeworth - Ace Attorney" game. My teacher seemed to think it was good. I edited the normal Phoenix Wright logo and put Edgeworth's head on it. Also I changed the words in the logo. I'm not sure if I can get the picture, though. It's at school, and it's now summer break. Oh well, maybe I can remake it...

pianocrazy90
June 28th, 2007, 03:32 am
Oh well than good job at making the Miles Edgeworth box cover. Its the game where you must fabricate enough evidence and witnesses so you can beat Phoenix in court. What a nice concept, but that might teach children wrong though as opposed to an defense attorney such as Phoenix Wright.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 28th, 2007, 02:47 pm
WhaaaAAAaaaAAAaaat?!? You believe that Edgeworth ACTUALLY fabricated evidence?!? NoooOOOoooOOOoooOOOooo!!?!?!!!?! Edgeworth is cool! Only that one time did he use fabricated evidence. And it wasn't his fault; he was tricked by Lana Skye. T.T Plus, what about the times when the suspect was actually the criminal? Then the kids would learn great justice, and be all excited when they catch the bad guy. I thought an Edgeworth game would be cool...

P.S.
Just in case you didn't know, Phoenix will also use fabricated evidence in the future.

pianocrazy90
June 28th, 2007, 04:20 pm
No I didn't mean that he did it in the games. I meant before Phoenix and him even crossed paths. It mentions him doing anything possible to win a case. But of course this was before he met up with Phoenix. Not saying it wouldn't be fun, because it could teach kids what being a prosecuter really means. And I would like to play because it sounds interesting. So don't go all nuclear on me. I was just stating what the game talked about before the actual cases that you played. And I do believe Edgeworth saying he was a bad person because he used to fabricate evidence because he didn't want to lose a case. But also remember Franzizka and her father. You do know her father Von whatshisname won every case he had done. Which means he may have sent some innocent people to jail for a crime they didn't commit. Im just telling you to keep that in mind in case you were to control any other character than Edgeworth.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 28th, 2007, 08:01 pm
Yes yes I understand, but in the last case of the first game, Edgeworth says he himself never fabricated any evidence. Ever. Then you find out that he accidentally used fabricated evidence during the SL-9 incident. But that wasn't his fault. He says he'd do anything possible "within his power" to win a case, but that he's never fabricated evidence. Also, sorry if I went "nuclear" on you. It wasn't intended that way. I guess I misinterpreted your previous post.
Also, Edgeworth has lost numerous cases to Phoenix, yet he's never fabricated anything within the games to beat him. Yeah, I wouldn't really want to play a von Karma Ace Attorney game. He's too evil for my taste.

pianocrazy90
June 29th, 2007, 01:30 am
Okay, he didn't fabricate evidence. And that him using fabricated evidence in the fifth case wasn't his fault but that of Gant and Lana(Because she was being blackmailed for her sister of a crime that she(Lana's sister) didn't commit). But what do you say about Franziska? You know the blue-haired girl with the whip who is also really too young to be a prosecuter.

Gyakuten Phoenix
June 29th, 2007, 02:23 am
Yep I know her. But ummm... What do I say about her? I don't really know... I know she's got an older sister (Manfred says he's got a granddaughter and she doesn't seem the type to get married [also she's too young])... And... She is similar to her father in the fact that she likes to keep a perfect record... I don't really know what else...

>.< Don't tell anyone but I secretly think she's kind of hot. I know she's just a fictional character, not to mention a drawing, but still...

pianocrazy90
June 30th, 2007, 12:58 am
Now what do you like about her?(Just kidding btw) Is it here whip and the way she always interrupts objections with it? Or is it that shes 14? Or maybe its because she likes getting complete perfect records when it comes to cases? Or maybe its the way she caries herself about other people, of I don't know maybe Detective Gumshoe, and the way she always puts him down and that she has a tracking device for him so that she will now where he is? If you would like me to stop Id be more than happy, just say when...(Just a little bit of humor, well at least for me.)

Ok enough rambling.

I'll try to watch this video. You see I have dial-up and my computer is very slow. So It'll be a while before it finishes. I hope I can watch it all.

Oh I remember now, she was 14 when she got out of law school. Thats what it was. But good, knowing that she is 18 makes me feel less guilty. I sorta like her as well, but not for her personality. Because shes mean and impatient to everyone. But I do like the way she looks.

Also, they've got the manga scanlated over at Court-Records, if you're into that. I think the cases in it are pretty interesting.

pianocrazy90
July 3rd, 2007, 05:06 am
Well sorry M. Maybe if you played it and posted here it wouldn't have to be a one on one conversation. Its not our fault if people don't play the game and don't post here. Anyone is welcome to say anything about the games. Any questions or comments? Well all I know is that I am disscussing what I really like alot. And its not my fault if people don't feel like posting here. Sorry for being rude, but Im trying to make a point. Maybe one that shows how ignorant and arrogant I really am, but a point nonetheless. Im aware it has been only the two of us talking, and I know the rules to try not to have one-on-one conversations. But remember people anybody is welcome to speak their thoughts. Really there isn't a current topic that should limit anyone from posting what they want. Im offering, but no one is taking the bait.

What?! There's a manga for it! Im sorry I never heard of the manga for it. If you have a link to a site where I could order it I would be most grateful. Or if you know of a store that sells them then thats ok as well. I would really like to read it if I can get my hands on it. Also is it in Japanese? Because I can't read Japanese.

Gyakuten Phoenix
July 7th, 2007, 12:31 am
Hmm, yes, that'll be a problem, since it's only in Japanese. Except the fan-translated one. That one's in English. I could give you the link to the fansub, if you want that instead. If you really want to buy the Japanese one, try e-mailing Croik form Court-Records. I don't know if I should tell it to you directly, but her e-mail is on the site.

About the manga, it's not actually about the trials in the game, but rather fictional trials made exclusively for the purpose of a manga. So if you haven't played the game, the manga won't spoil it. Ha. *Kirby victory dance*

pianocrazy90
July 7th, 2007, 03:53 am
Yeah give me the link for the fansub. Theres no way I can read Japanese. But yeah thats good that the manga isn't about the games trials. As long as it has the main characters then I am alright.

Gyakuten Phoenix
July 7th, 2007, 09:57 pm
Alright. The link is http://www.court-records.net/manga.htm. There are different... Versions (?) of manga here. One is the official manga, which is the one that has the main stories and such. It has the most parts to it, but the last two aren't subbed yet. The mangas at the bottom of the page are just comics and don't really have anything to do with anything. They're still funny, so I do recommend reading them.

T.T They've killed him. KILLED HIM! T.T It's horrible. Devistatingly horrible. APOLLO JUSTICE??!!?!? APOLLO?!?!?! JUSTICE?!??!?!!!? WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?!? THAT'S LIKE PHOENIX LAW! OR PHOENIX McLAWYER! Why??? It's just not... Wright! (Clever pun, eh? Almost an innuendo.)

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's Odoroki's English name. Apollo. Justice. It's basically been confirmed. Well, not by Capcom itself, but it might as well have been. It's quite solid evidence, if we're to believe "French articles". In the words of Bender B. Rodriguez (in a Brittish-style accent): "We are not amused".

The only good thing about ^ is that this means for sure that it's coming out in English. No doubt. Also, Trials and Tribulations is coming out on the fourth of September. I was mistaken. I guess somebody defiled Wikipedia.

pianocrazy90
July 9th, 2007, 12:53 am
Hmm yeah, I heard the news yesterday. But how do we know that that is going to be the name for the english version? Or did France really mean it to be all versions name other than the original Japanese version?I don't really like the name myself, why can't they just keep the original name? Is it the fact that they must localize it, is that the problem? But yes though, I double the statement "We are not amused!"

Haha, it seems as though I was indeed correct. In your face! (nah just kidding, sorry to be rude like that. Its just that I remember Brian from Family Guy saying that to Peter one time, and felt I should be compelled to do so as well.) But thats good thing right? It means we get the game even sooner! What a joyous occation, not for the 4th game. But for the 3rd. I can't wait for T.A.T.!

Gyakuten Phoenix
July 9th, 2007, 01:49 am
I have no idea what changing someones name has to do with localization. The character in the French Phoenix Wright games is still named Phoenix, I believe. Although I don't see how the pun would work in French. "Est-ce que c'est correct, Monsieur Wright ?" ... I don't get it.

I do agree it's a good thing that it's coming out sooner. Then I can play it at school instead of... Not... Playing it at school... Anyways, no offence taken. I also am having trouble with the waiting for said game to be released. Whee!

pianocrazy90
July 9th, 2007, 05:26 am
But why do they have to change the name to Appolo and not keep the name Odoroki. I know its Japanese but do all names have to be translated? I got used to that name after I heard it a while and now they go and change the name. No I wasn't prepared for this, no one said the name would change. *Gets thrown into panic and runs around untill legs fall off.*

Well if your having trouble waiting for it now, what will you do when you have to wait for the 4th to come out? Huh, what will you do then? *Goes and replays all games released until the 4th has arrived*

Umm... I'll probably have to... Just... Maybe... Well I started that new Pokemon yesterday. I've had the game almost since it came out, I just never started my own file in it. Well, Ive been thinking about getting the new(Well at least it is to me, the newest handheld pokemon game anyway.) pokemon game. I just haven't had time. I mainly have a part time (or should I say full time) job. At least its at my dads store. But in my free time I might be able to play some DS game. You know what would be fun. Playing PW in public. I can just see it now, yelling OBJECTION! and then everybody staring at me with the words like "whats wrong with that guy!" I dunno just a thought.

What was your favorite cases for both games anyway? If you already told me Im sorry.
For PW:AA I liked the fifth case the most. And in PW:AA-JFA I liked the fourth case although the third came up close. Just something about the circus got me or was it the clown and his stale but somewhat ammusing jokes and puns? (I forgot his name, do you remember it? Was it Moe or something like that?)

Gyakuten Phoenix
July 10th, 2007, 03:01 pm
Heh heh heh heh lolz that WOULD be fun. Shouting "HOLD IT!" might get some people confused... But that's the whole point!

Hmm, my favourite cases... Well in #1 I liked Turnabout Samurai because I like the Steel Samurai. In the 2nd game, I also liked the fourth one. Not just because it had another samurai, but because it's the Return of Edgeworth. Also because it was very interesting. As for the clown, His name is Lawrence Curlz, but they just call him Moe.

Well can you actually clearly see Appolo Justice in that circle? It looks a little blurry. But it does seem to conform it anyway unfortunately.

Yeah I did like case three as well. I remember the Steel Samurai and the Old Bag. (Hehe, inside joke.) And she was also in case 4 in the second game you should remember as dressing up as that alien.

Gyakuten Phoenix
July 10th, 2007, 07:46 pm
Inside joke? You mean that Ms Oldbag is an old bag? Isn't that implied? Or is it something else that is inside to you? Well, you don't have to say it if you don't want to. And unfortunatly it IS his name. So sad.

pianocrazy90

I meant they kept saying it in the court. I remember the Judge trying to find a way to say it but was embarrased to so he just called her the witness. Yes I meant Ms Oldbag. And she is, she talks so fast she could break the sound barrier.

No I didn't mean anything else by it. I was just playing on her name so if you didn't play the game you wouldn't know who I was talking about. You see?

*sigh* Yeah... Oh right. I just remembered to remember to post this. Remember that time you said that you went to that anime convention and saw Phoenix games on sale, but they were in Japanese, so you didn't want to buy them? Well, it recently came back to my memory, but I'm pretty sure that the Japanese versions of Ace Attorney 1 & 2 have both Japanese AND English languages to select from at the start of the game.

pianocrazy90
August 2nd, 2007, 05:09 am
Nah, it wasn't the first two. It was the fourth game on for sale but in Japanese. I really wanted to buy it, but not only could I not read Japanese but I wouldn't pay that much for it. Do you know how much imports from Japan costs? I mean imports as in directly from the Japanese market.

I also saw the Bleach game on the DS as well. I think both games were about $50.

Gyakuten Phoenix
August 2nd, 2007, 05:52 pm
Oh wow... Fifty bucks... Do Japanese games even work properly on North American DS's? Or do you need to get them modified?

pianocrazy90

I would think they should cause remember that when you start up your DS for the very first time it asks what language you want.

And also for those fans of the game who love it so much may go out and buy a Phoenix Wright t-shirt from this site - http://www.aardvarktees.com/ Its under the hot items list. (Its the very first one.)

I got the link from CR, thats probably why you thought I got I got it from Capcom. But I still did look at that page on the forum for the information.

Let me put it like this CR posted the link, I went to the link, I saw what was on the link, and I posted up the link here for people who don't go to CR for PW info. (I just said it like that because in the paragraph above I wasn't really all that clear.)

pianocrazy90

Hopefully it will be without the gramactical errors the Japanese one did. But thats because this was the first time they have ever really done dual language. So its only understandable that they made a few mistakes, but still they should double check before shipping out the games in Japan next time.

Gyakuten Phoenix
August 29th, 2007, 08:25 pm
Do the Japanese people who play the games really care that much about the gramatical errors in the English version of the game? I thought they'd be playing the Japanese style... Although maybe some English people in Japan purchased the game... Or some Japanese people who really love English...

pianocrazy90
August 30th, 2007, 03:29 am
I doubt the Japanese would play the english version unless they new the language and could speak it. They may also use it like a grammar book, to learn english although I highly doubt that. But there are English people who do live in Japan that may pick up the game, thats another possibility. Or maybe this was just for people from English speaking countries who were importing the game from Japan. I don't know other than those reasons.

Indeed. They probably didn't really care about the typos in Japan... In other news, I made a box-art-cover-thingy on Photoshop for the first Phoenix Wright game on the DS. Wanna see it?

Yeah, thats really good! Im not an artist critic but I have to say if they made the PW:AA cover like the one for JFA then Im sure thats what it would've looked like.

Oh yeah, I got my iObject t-shirt today! It looks really cool, so now I can show off my love of the game to other people. My t-shirt was royal blue color, they do have black, lime green, pink. I think there might have been red as well Im not sure. But you should get one as well!

Alright, time for a new topic! Since this site is realted to music, I thought I might ask something musical. What're your top 5 favourite songs in the Ace Attorney series? Mine are as follows:

1. Investigation ~ Cornered (Incl. the variation)
2. The Steel Samurai's theme
3. Phoenix Wright ~ Objection!
4. Detective Gumshoe's theme
5. I can't decide between Turnabout Sister's Theme 2001, or Won the Lawsuit! ~ The First Sucess

Special mention for Examination ~ Allegro, 'cause it couldn't fit in my top 5.

pianocrazy90
September 7th, 2007, 04:18 am
Man, that is a very tough question because I like so many.

1.Phoenix Wright~Objection.
2.The Steel Samurai's theme.
3.Detective Gumshoe's theme.
4.Damon Gant's theme.
5.Lotta Hart's theme.
(Im not sure if these are my exact favorites, but they are the ones I remember the most. Usually thats how it goes, like what ever sticks in your mind is what most memorable. And also these are just for Ace Attorney, not JFA.)

Gyakuten Phoenix
September 7th, 2007, 01:47 pm
Yeah, I know what you mean... There are too many good songs in the series. Although, I believe that the first game has better music than the second. They changed the composer from Masakazu Sugimori in the first game to Akemi Kimura in the second. I like Masakazu's songs more, but Akemi's aren't bad either. I wonder what the 3rd game's music will be like... (Without actually listening to it before I get the game...)

pianocrazy90
September 8th, 2007, 01:26 am
Yeah, Im curious about that myself. I personally don't care about the music that much as long as the gameplay stays solid, but I wouldn't mind good classic PW music though. I still can't wait, and I hope the fourth game makes it in the future too here in America and other countries that like to play the games.

Only like 14 days left untill PW3 comes out! Lets have a countdown!

14 days untill PW3.

13. He's already trailing behind... Less than 12% of the vote belongs to him. Curse that Mario and his superness

[Edit] I've found this new game! It looks really interesting! I don't know what it's called, and it has a really long Japanese title, but it has "Nishimura Kyotaro" in it, and he's a Japanese mystery author. It's only in Japan as of tomorrow (Oct 11), but it looks really interesting! Phoenix Wright-esque, even!

pianocrazy90
October 10th, 2007, 10:04 pm
Well, Mario has been around since the 80s so you can't expect him to lose to Phoenix who just appeared on the scene in the early 2000s in Japan. Honestly I didn't know he was up against Mario, because almost everybody knows mario and will probably vote for him. But I still remained loyal and voted for Phoenix.

Id say 11125 votes is pretty good for not being the most well known video game character. And also remember PW only appears on the DS, not everybody owns a DS or a gameboy(For those who live in Japan and played the original on the GBA). And also that Mario has been on every Nintendo console, so its good to assume Mario would win for sure. But Im just glad Phoenix made it to the second round.

Gyakuten Phoenix

October 24th, 2007, 02:15 am
Oh man thats awesome! Although they are the original kind they still are extremely rare, so great job. I tried to find the password, but the only letter I got was an E so great job!

Well I'll have to wait untill tomorrow to get my copy of T&T because they said it shipped today but doesn't get the store untill tommorrow. Oh well, I can't wait! Oh GP did you preorder your copy? (I assume you have or you are getting one considering your a very avid fan of PW.) Well if you did, then preorder bonus! If you didn't, you still have a Godot mug which is just as good if not more so!

Lirael
October 24th, 2007, 08:00 pm
I've played and finished the first, but haven't finished the second. I preferred the first by far. Maximillion is irritating, as are many of the characters in the second game... I wonder what the next one will be like, though. I have many games to finish before thinking about getting PW3 though. Haha.

Edit: Oh! It's out today?! I better start playing them then. ¬_¬

Gyakuten Phoenix
October 24th, 2007, 08:25 pm
*Sigh*... I haven't preordered one, I thought I could get it if I went there, but Noooo! Oh well... The pain of the wait makes me stronger for when AA4 will be delayed.

Mug = total awesomeness!! It's gonna be sweet!

Also, @Lirael: You're not alone. Most people preferred the first to the second. I did. I'm not saying it was bad, just that I liked the first better.

[EDIT] FORGET THAT! THEY HAVE IT! THEY REALLY HAVE IT! I'M GOING TO GO GET IT RIGHT NOW!!!

pianocrazy90
October 25th, 2007, 02:20 am
Ok your sentances are a little ambiguous GP. Sorry for the grammatical remark, but I can't tell if you mean the game or the Pre-order bonus. I assume you mean the game, if so then yeah I would expect you to be able to be able to buy the day it comes out. Preordering only means is to secure a copy of a game for you and no one else and also possibly a preorder bonus. Oh I got a Phoenix Wright plus keychain, its awesome! I have yet to play the game at the moment, but I will in about an hour.

But hey you still have that Godot mug which is probably better than the keychain so again I say cherish that mug because you worked hard for it.

Yeah I liked the first one best mainly because it had five cases instead of four, but also because it was the first one so I had more a time with it. So my vote is for the first one. I still loved the second one, well, because its PW, but the first one by far is the best.

Gyakuten Phoenix
October 25th, 2007, 07:46 pm
XD Yeah, I meant the game.

pianocrazy90
October 26th, 2007, 02:31 am
Well, I just finished the first case, and I must say it is better than the first cases of other two games. Maybe because it took me longer to finish then regulary, but I think I also liked so I could see into their past which was pretty interesting.

Note: this next spoiler contains information about the first case, so if you haven't finished the first case of PW:T&T DO NOT READ IT!
I wonder if we will see Dahlia Hawthorne ever again? Because she did say to Mia that one day our paths will cross again and when it does(she didn't say this part, but she insinuated it.) I will exact my revenge. Now Im curious about this, who knows maybe so in upcoming cases.

Gyakuten Phoenix
October 26th, 2007, 10:09 pm
HA HA HA HA HA OH MY GOODNESS! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID! I was talking about it to my friend one Wednesday, and I was saying how much better I liked case 1 in the 3rd game best out of all case 1's! And for the same reason about the past! Duuuuuude!

Also:
I'm pretty sure Dahlia will turn up again. I think (while I was looking for the Godot Mug clues) I accedentally saw another character who looks suspiciousally like her in the T&T characters section of CR. Now, I didn't read any info, I just think they look similar, so I might be wrong.

Also, you might want to check out my last post in the Games to Anime thread. You might be surprised. Then again, you might not. But I think you would be. In a good way. Unless you already have, then there's really no need to see it again, is there?

pianocrazy90
October 27th, 2007, 03:03 am
Hmm, about that part about what you said about Dahlia Hawthorne, I may have to look into that because now Im a bit curious.

Also yep, I just went to the games to anime thread, and saw what you posted. And I think that would be the coolest thing ever to happen in the history of DS games. Man, knowing that once you beat all the games and then they come out with a show or movie, you would know many if not all references and be able to sit back and say "Ha, I knew this day would eventually come and Im glad I prepared for it."

I just finished Case 2, and I just have to post this last line that Phoenix gives before ending the case because they are so funny. Mind you this is not word for word but is along the same lines.
And as the case came to a close so did my consciousness. And also wasn't this case(Case 2, if you weren't sure to which one I was refering to.) really like none you have ever done before, GP.

And lastly, Godot is weird but he's pretty cool. I wish I could drink that much coffee. I just have one question for him though, does he ever go to the bathroom? I mean he drinks 17 cups of coffee per trial, Im surprised his bladder doesn't explode.

Gyakuten Phoenix
October 27th, 2007, 02:40 pm
Yeah, a show/movie would be really awesome. I'm not done case 2 yet, just part 1 of case 2. It's pretty cool in the way that it plays out. It's like a two-for-one deal! The cliffhanger is intense! But I think I know why Ron was trying to be DeMasque.

As for Godot... He's my new favourite character. Right up there with Phoenix and Miles. He's not as talkative in court as Edgeworth, but he's got a mysterious coolness to him. Maybe it's his mask, or the fact that he's always so non-chalant. Or both.

pianocrazy90
October 27th, 2007, 10:29 pm
Or maybe its his 117+ Godot coffee blends or maybe when he gets mad he chucks his coffee at Phoenix! Thats always funny.

Gyakuten Phoenix
October 30th, 2007, 05:45 pm
G-g-g-g-g-g......! GODOT! H-he... HE IS A SPOILER!!! His very essence! Just look at his name! He's a complete spoiler!!!x_x

pianocrazy90
October 31st, 2007, 02:05 am
Well, I got to Case 4. And thats a spoiler in it self. Is this possibly where Godot came from? I don't know, but The guy that helps Mia looks very much like Godot. I haven't gotten to the last case yet so Im not sure. BTW, where are you at GP?(Like what case or are you so much of an addicted fan of PW, just like Godot is to coffee, that you've already finished the game.

Gyakuten Phoenix
October 31st, 2007, 02:14 am
XD Yeah, I stayed up to the wee hours of the morning playing almost every case. So I'm finished now. T&T is my 2nd favourite of the Phoenix arc, losing to Ace Attorney by 0.0000000000000000000001%. The mysteries of Godot posessed me to keep playing.

pianocrazy90

My fellow RPG games of Ichigos I present evidence of something really good that will happen in early 2008. I present...

pianocrazy90
November 12th, 2007, 03:38 am
Well who knows what will happen, I just hope we actually get the game.
Oh and I beat T&T just yesterday. I sorta tried to drag it out as long as I could because it was so painful to beat it(And I mean that emotionally, not that the game was really hard.), because this may be the last time we may ever see Phoenix Wright as an Attorney.

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 12th, 2007, 04:47 am

pianocrazy90
November 13th, 2007, 01:50 am
Ha, just like Godot is to coffee.

Man, one of the last lines he said was really good. This is of course not verbatim, but close enough. I gave her my last cup of coffee, that was covered in milk and sugar to hide the bitterness of truth. (As my english teacher would say, "That's good stuff you guys, good stuff.")

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 13th, 2007, 09:53 pm
Godot's lines are made of epic win. Nobody in the games I've played have lines as good as him.

pianocrazy90
November 14th, 2007, 01:14 am
True.

Pop quiz! What did Fransizka call Detective Gumshoe in both JFA and T&T?(In other words what was the nick name she gave Gumshoe?)

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 14th, 2007, 08:02 pm
Oh! I know this one! Hehehe, it's Scruffy!! Pearls also got in on some of that calling him Mr. Scruffy Detective.

Now it's my turn: What did Gumshoe want to be when he was a kid (mentioned in T&T)?

pianocrazy90
November 15th, 2007, 02:22 am
Correct!

I know this as well! He wanted to be a wizard!

This is an easy question because Ive mentioned it alot in this thread, but how many cups of coffee does Godot drink per trial(Not the whole trial combined, but each day of the trial.)? And extra credit question! Which cup(As in what number of cup of coffee was he on) of coffee did Godot claim to be looking grim(Not verbatium, but close enough) at him? (This may be a hard question but think back and try to remember it.(Hint: Its not his 1st or 17th cup. I know bad hint but it eliminates 2 of the 17 choices.)

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 15th, 2007, 02:25 pm
XD yeah, Gumshoe the wizard. That's amazing.

Anyways, Godot drinks 17 cups per trial day. As for the extra credit, I don't remember exactly, but I want to say it was his 8th. So that's what I'm gonna say.

Humm, let's see... I shouldn't do a spoilery question, so... In case 3 of the 3rd game, what is the sixth word of the fifteenth line after the 2nd required checkpoint/savepoint? XD Just kidding. I wouldn't ever be able to verify this. Ever. Oh, here's a real one: Who is described as a big, brown bear known to surprise unsuspecting victims? And who is doing the description?

pianocrazy90
November 16th, 2007, 02:25 am
Actually it was his 6th cup of coffee but very close!

Is this question from the third game?

Well Im not sure, but I think it might be from JFA.(I don't know.) Is it Aero from case 3 of JFA.*BUZZER SOUNDS WRONG ANSWER*(Sorry I just can't remember what game thats from.

All right heres a question from the third game. What was the slogan for Tender Lender?
(This another easy question but I'll still give you a hint: Its only 3 words long.) EXTRA CREDIT: Whats so special about The Tigre's desk?

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 16th, 2007, 03:05 pm
Actually, it was from T&T. It's Gumshoe describing Mask*DeMasque. Such crazy randomness, I know. Also, who's Aero?

The Tender Lender slogan is "Win through compromise", right? And Furio's desk... It's unique because it's made of gold, if I remember correctly.

pianocrazy90
November 16th, 2007, 09:41 pm
You don't remember Aero from JFA? He was in the third case, the circus case where he
murdered the ringmaster by droping something on him. I can't remember exactly what though.

New question: Easy question from the first game. Who was the person who said to the Judge and also Edgeworth, "Have you gone swimming lately?" HINT: He gave them nicknames as well like Edgy.

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 16th, 2007, 11:18 pm
Ohhhhhhhhh you mean Acro! xD As in: Acro and Bat, as in: acrobat. I remember him.

The answer to that: Cheif Gant, right, Wrighto? He's the jokes on CRF.
Q: Who is it that says "Yo hablo español"?

pianocrazy90
November 17th, 2007, 03:16 am
Why that would be the judge who speaks spanish because that French chef says por favor.

Yeah, it was Acro, sorry my bad.

Q: List the many jobs Ms. Oldbag has done and define what she tends to do when she gets mad.(Meaning, does she stay quiet or something else?)

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 17th, 2007, 10:31 pm
Eumm... All the jobs she's done? In her life of ?? years? Well all I know is security guard at Global Studios, security guard in a space suit at the Gatewater Hotel, and security guard manager/boss also in a space suit at KB Security. That's all I got.

Q: What was Phoenix mainly studying at college? (Not counting law, since that was on the side)

pianocrazy90
November 18th, 2007, 05:10 am
Yeah, I meant in the game series so yeah, you covered every job.

Phoenix was studying mainly Art of some kind. He was studying Law on the side, but changed to study law fully when Mia got him a not guilty.

What famous lunch food was Larry selling in the first game, and where was he selling them?

Gyakuten Phoenix

Where did this said painting end up?

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 20th, 2007, 02:11 am
Aww man, isn't that spoilerifical? Oh well, if whoever else reads this hasn't beat the first game... Well, I don't know what.
A:The painting was taken as extortion payment by Redd White

Q: What was the virus in T&T named?

pianocrazy90
November 21st, 2007, 02:05 am
MC Bomber I just put a spoiler around that just in case. My question above wasn't really that spoilerifical(Dude you coined that word, meaning you made it up. But I think its a cool word). I mean as long as they don't read your spoiler they won't be learning anything. But yeah, my question may have given some info away.

Ok this next question is most certainly spoiler worthy or spoilerifical.
What was the murder weapon in the Steel Samurai case? (HINT: Think carefully before answering, because Im asking what was the REAL murder weapon or more like object in this case.)

Also, if anyone else would like to join our PW quizing then by all means answer, but only if you know the answer. And also ask a PW question for the next poster to answer.

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 21st, 2007, 07:46 pm
A:The murder weapon in the Steel Samurai case was the pointy fence-post outside of Studio 2. It wasn't really a weapon, per se, but it did the job, so to speak.

Also, I agree. Anyone is welcome to join. The more the merrier. Heh heh... "merrier"...

Q: Since the events of PW1 take place in 2016, what school grade would Phoenix be in this year (2007/08)

pianocrazy90
November 22nd, 2007, 02:18 am
A: Well he'd be around the age of 16. Which would be like 10th or 11th grade.(No one has to be a certain age to be in a certain grade.)

Q: Which character from the PW games comes from the heartland?

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 22nd, 2007, 07:41 pm
A: Lotta Hart. I never really knew what the heartland was, but I'm guessing it means the south... But the events of Phoenix Wright supposedly take place in Los Angeles, California, which is also in the southern US, if I'm not mistaken. So I guess heartland means the steriotypical south...?

Q: What's the name of Edgeworth's father and who is he named after?

pianocrazy90
November 23rd, 2007, 03:14 am
A: Gregory Edgeworth, Im not quite sure where he got the name from though.

Lotta Heart was from the heartland, which is the deep south. California is not what you would call the deep south. She's FROM the heartland, the area they were in at the time wasn't where she was from. The heartland is where Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas are. So she's pretty much a redneck.

Q: True or False- Phoenix knows how to drive and has his driver's license.

Oh and Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you ate alot of food and watched some football.

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 23rd, 2007, 08:48 pm
My sources (Court-Records) say that Gregory Edgeworth was named after Gregory Peck, the actor who portrayed Atticus Finch in the 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird. I still think Apollo's name should have been Atticus. That name is so cool.

A: False. Phoenix doesn't have a licence according to the Ini Miney case, where he states that he'd never gotten one.

Q: What sort of lunch does Gumshoe make for Maggey in Recipe for a Turnabout?

PS. Thanksgiving in Canada is in October

pianocrazy90
November 24th, 2007, 03:30 am
A: Tenny Wennies.

Sorry I forgot that Thanksgiving for you was in October.

Gyakuten Phoenix
November 24th, 2007, 07:52 pm
@~milo~: Actually, fans of the game like to purchase them because it supports the company, in this case, Capcom. If the sale of those games is high, this means a sequal is likely to be released, since they profitted off the first one. Therefore, buying the game is much more important to the fandom than downloading it. Additionally, the fourth game is supposedly being released in February in North America. It's great to have another fan!

@pianocrazy90: A: Franziska von Karma. She is... dare I say it... A whippersnapper! [/oldbag]

Q: Hmm, I'm running low on trivia. What sort of car does Edgeworth drive, and who's the one who says they don't like it?

As this thread now has 50 posts of only two people talking and turned into a quiz thread --- thus losing all discussion purposes --- I henceforth declared this closed, and tell them to take it to PM.

Both of you, do not make another thread. If the community is interested, someone else will make a thread and then you can continue the conversation. As I see it, the community isn't interested, thus the thread does not need to be made public and you two can talk about it in private.
