Hey guys, this luce1sw,

I arranged a medley of 15 FFVII melodies for piano and was just posting it to see your guys opinion. Any critiques, comments? These are greatly appreciated!

Oh, a small explanation of the end - the last line is an "Optional Ending" which I put in as a half joke, the first time the "non-optional" ending is the real ending.

By the way, in case any people get irked I never wrote Nobuo Uematsu's name (spelling?) on the mus file I do give him credit (insane amounts) for actually composing all of the melodies that I used.

The first part got boring (not enough chords), but that's not your fault ;) . It could have been arranged better.

What is the first part?

More specifically, meas. 9-26. It got boring (probably the bass), and as I mentioned before, it's not your fault ;) .

Put in some pedal.

By pedal do you mean like piano pedal? Because I never write it in, but I always play.

I figured, but it's nicer to listen to on the computer when you put it in. Sorry, not really a necessity, but it's nice for your listeners.

oh, that's true. I'm sorry, because I always have a tough time getting the computer to playback the piece how I want it - it never does.

But I was the one who arranged it...?

 I thought you just put some of "person x"'s songs in there and just put them in an order that sounded good. I didn't think you would change the notes much :heh:.

Oh no, I arranged it all and changed a decent amount of every piece to make it, what I thought, more interesting and difficult and cooler.;)

Ok. Then I might as well say: add some more notes to the bass part in the measures that I mentioned above.... it did get boring. And as deathraider said, put some pedal in ;) .

Sorry for double post, but here's what I did, to add expression. I'm not a great piano player, so I don't know if I'm being too picky about the articulation at "Boss Battle".

EDIT: :dots:

EDIT2: More "expressive junk" -_- .

I wouldn't really suggest adding pedals in that jazz part. It really ruins that jazz feel to it. Secondly, I don't really think it's necessary to put in all the pedal markings, just write 'con pedale' in the beginning and let the performer judge where to add pedal and etc...
