I'm still extremely new at the whole composing thing, i found a song a long time ago and it inspired me to make a theme.

It's called Theme Of Correnia Castle.

Correnia

Any kind of feedback will be much appreciated ^_^ thank you!!

PS this is strongly inspired by a song i heard years ago... if i can find it I'll post it.

EDIT: This is only a sample first minute.

Very intresting song. It repeted itself a bit much. And it also cut off just as the song seemed to be getting to a good part. Good job, though!

This is a pretty good song. It almost has a western kind of theme going on :heh: and it was put together well. Id also agree that theres more that could have been added, but your probably still gonna add more. good job

Your song is REALLY hard to listen to because of the volume change. The repeated emphasis does not give the listener a good settled feeling they should have when listening to any type of song. Maybe cut down those accents into half. The song has a nice mood, nicely done orchestration, but lacks melody. I was expecting to hear some sort of main melody from your part2 but it never came.

There are some very interesting accentuations here and there but I felt that it should be a little cleaner. And I don't really agree about adding more foreground elements, it's a really nice quasi-atmospheric piece. Maybe more percussion toys or something would make it sound more interesting.

That song has some "Vagrant Story" vibes to it though its a bit to joyous.
I think its great and I think it works without a clear melody. You could try to add a French horns melody just to see if it fits. or you could do as sir dot proposed.

I enjoyed listening to it anyways so keep it up.
