i just want to know which mangas are ppl's favorites. mine are inuyasha, kenshin, alice 19th, neon genesis evangelion, and ranma 1/2

well, the only manga i ever read was naruto, sooooo i guess my favorite is naruto.

Everyone who&#39;s watched the Love Hina anime but have not read the manga need to get up... head over to the bookstore... and start reading the manga... It goes way past Love Hina: Again and also it, imho, clarifies some parts of the anime which might have not seemed clear. (For instance, the part in episode 4 where Keitaro is looking for the "switch"... I, until I read the manga, had no clue wtf he was talking about and did not know that "furnace tables" existed -.-"

That&#39;s really the only manga I&#39;ve read, save for the Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel 2 manga scans that have been translated online... not bad...

I should really get my brother in here, he&#39;s read much much more manga than I have. He&#39;s got a friggen bookshelf full of them -.-"

I"S by Katsura. That is the BEST MANGA EVER MADE&#33; It&#39;s a romantic drama with a little humor mixed in (although less and less as it goes). Not only is the art the highest quality i&#39;ve ever seen (the people actually look real in some pages) the story line is amazing. No other drama, not even Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien gave me a better bittersweet feeling. it&#39;s jsut amazing

DOWNLOAD THE SCANSLATIONS NOW&#33;&#33;&#33; it&#39;s actually not that long a series. maybe 12 volumes if i remember right (it&#39;s prolly somewhere areound that number)

"manga" is basically the japanese word for "comic"

"graphic novel" is the equivalent of "comic book"

So you could say Love Hina is a manga, but it is 14 graphic novels

Therefore, Tokyo Mew Mew is a manga (and an entertaining one at that ^_^)

Also: I love Fruits Basket&#33;&#33; It&#39;s my favourite anime, and it might become my favourite manga after I&#39;ve read more of it *only has 2 books so far*

Anyway, I just love the Excel Saga and Love Hina manga. I&#39;m also very taken by the manga &#39;blade of the immortal&#39;. The artwork is just FANTASTIC. t&#39;s worth reading if only to look at the drawings, which are mostly pencil drawn by hand.

I&#39;ve read a ton of manga and I can&#39;t decide on a favourite, but the newest one I bought was tsubasa (wings). Its really good, it crosses over with xxxholic, and it has a lot of other characters from other Clamp manga. I really like it.

and...right now, i&#39;m started to get obsessed with R2 or Rise R to the Second Power. :neko: the art is cute and the storyline is pretty good. d^^

I'd like to read Ai no Kusabi, even though apparently it's hardcore yaoi XD Everyone keeps telling me the plot is reaaaally good. (Not sure if I actually believe them). I'd also like to read 'Worst'. The story of delinquent fighting to be the boss of his school.

It's funny how my taste in manga has changed though - I think it must do with age. I used to be the BIGGEST fan of stuff like Wish by CLAMP. But I don't read CLAMP anymore at all.

- King of Bandit Jing - great art, quirky characters and stories
- Samurai Deeper Kyo - Good ole samurai action, great inking and loads of funny characters
- Anything by Shizuru Seino (Girl Got Game, Love Attack) - because her shojo is cute and hilarious, with almost no annoying characters
- Highschool Debut - refreshing shojo, any annoying characters are stamped out quickly. Another funny read
- Let Dai - beautiful artwork and some of the best characterisation I've read
- Bleach and Zombie Powder - because I'm a Kubo fangirl. I love the characters he creates and the way he draws them
- Godchild - more beautiful art in a great Gothic English setting about murder and intrigue, what's not to love?
- D.Gray Man - Again, lovely inks and great characters, with it's own quirks.

Pretty much, I love good inking, unique characters, quirky stuff and funny stuff, haha.
