Very Nice! I can see hero returning to his village- but he's late, it's all burned to the ground.....he sees his parents on the ground, sliced up by swords, and pulped by blunts.....dead....he becomes angry and swears to avenge them and his town...

If this song were to be in a game, it would be one of those songs that you recognize, but then forget. My suggestion to you would be to have a more interesting melody. The instrument choice was god though, but I would also include vocals in this song, seriously. If you would make this song slower, you could use it as a one-time song in a game, with lyrics in it as a main melody. As it look now, it wouldn't be much of a success though, sorry.

very nice! yeah, i can also see the warrior returning to his burned down village as well. just a suggestion, it would be cool to add some cymbal sounds to some parts, like the end of the song have a gong ring out... but you dont' have to, just an opinion. besides that, awesome job! nicely written and played. looking forward to hearing more of your work!

Rate-10/10

There is something about this song, that personaly I do not like.
I'm not exactly sure what it is so I can't poke at it.

I'll give it another listen and check for myself.
But if I were to rate it from what I think of it now, I would give it:

7.5/10

The mixing of the instrument was good, but I didn't like the buzz-zap of the sax as the theme, maybe a softer violan (sp? :heh:); this would also address what noir7 would state about the lyrics (guessing the saxaphone was the melody) for the midi file.

To me the feel of the music is quite fluent, and meshing was great (except one note in the midi poped out blaringly loud [possible mistake])

Overall: 8/10
