It's the ambiance and atmosphere that is so scary in Doom 3. You just want to use the flashlight all the time and make sure nothing is behind, on top of, or below you. =P

So true, that's what makes it so thrilling ^_^ When I was in this room and the whole level started shaking.. as if something BIG was coming.. or my first encounter with a Pinky Demon where it tried to get through the door.. Damn, so scary X_X

Doesn't really fit my memories of Doom but then again I always played with the Simpsons mod.

That comic is really funny. Its gory, but I'm sorta used to the gore by now, from all them video games I play, so I don't really mind it.

Funny comic! It wasn't gory for me at all, cause I've seen far worse. Besides, it's cartoonish, and they did it with style. *thumbs up*

Apparantly he said the reason he agreed to do the film was to get to use the 'BFG' so thats something in his favour at least, who wouldnt want to sign up with that waved at them (the use of the gun, not the gun itself obviously though that would work as well) I'm more concerned by the demons dont come from hell anymore bit but I guess another dimensions good enough

Yup, Americans are a bit crazy now. Everthing seems rude to the majority of them. Such as calling Asians the Oriental is rude now. They are even going to the extent of changing all the laws so it says 'Asian' not 'Orient'.

And somehow calling 'Blacks' 'Black' is rude too. They are even teaching you to call black people 'African-American', making an assumption that all black people you see are African-American.

I just saw the film's trailer and it wasn't as shitty as I thought it would be, at least the imps (for as far as I could see them) looked like the ones from Doom 3, which is a good thing :)

I dont think it will be based on the game it self, just a lose plot similarity, some of the same monsters, and the title DOOM....I bet its going to be crap, like other movies based on games.

Just like the Final Fantasy film was messed up to suit the general public's taste, and pretty much every film really x_x Tomb Raider, never saw it, but the games suck so the film has to suck even more XD

The movie of Tomb Raider was iffy, it was not good, but not bad. I only liked the parts in Cambodia, because im Cambodian and because a giant statue of Vishnu comes to life!

Ummm...Well, FF:The souls within [or what ever it was] wasnt that good, but the graphics were beyond its time!

The only good movie based on a game IMO is FF:AC, and its not even out yet :)
