Everyone is permitted to vote for this thread but they must state the reason to why they chose that particular storyline and why not the others or I will not be counting your vote. It doesn't have to be paragraphs, two simple sentences would do. This is so that people can't just decide to come in, click a random vote and leave without even knowing what this thing was about. Also, you are allowed to vote for your own storyline!

Sorry for this delay, maybe I clicked wrong or something but here it is. This poll will last 7days.

I do expect everyone on the writing team to vote for this!! That is a must! Oh, the creater of the plot selected will be writing a prologue so the rest of the group can see exactly how you want the story to progress as well as a general overview. This can be how long ever the writer needs for him/her to establish a strong bass for the rest of the group to work with.

To Noir7: I did not put your "plot" in because well...like people have stated, it's not quite a plot. Once the plot itself is finalized, I will be posting up a thread titled by that plot and we will discuss if we can incorporate your setting into it or not.;)

As for my vote, I voted for my own cause well...it's my own. Deathraider's idea would have been my second choice if people were wondering...I just liked it better, maybe I'm just soft on ideas about China haha!

PS: I forgot to make it so that we can see who voted for which person so if you are the author who gave the idea and voted for yourself then please tell me so I won't void your vote thinking it was a prank.

I voted for KK's plot because I like how well it flows (girl born into a lower society, forbidden love, prince used power to take away parents, etc.). It seems so reasonable and not far-fetched, yet is powerful. I also like how the song is used in the part where the prince falls in love with the girl, which sounds like a beautiful idea :)

I voted for my own, but that was mostly because it was the one that made the most sense to me (although I doubt it made NEARLY as much sense to everyone else when I got it all typed out). I liked KaitouKudou's idea a lot as well, though, and it could do well if it's fully developed (I wish you had told what would happen at the end!). I thought some of the other ones were less original or more confusing.

Edit: for the record, China isn't united by the Qin regime, because China is already united, but rather the Asian Continent is united under the Qin regime

KK's Plot. Picked it because there aren't so many plots out there like this one. All the others I've heard of before and seem overused in my taste. Although this IS common, I liked it the best of the other overused ones. :lol:

If I saw these books in a store, I would pick KK's. That's the main reason I voted for that one.


Also, this seems to be more realistic than royalty falling in love with a peasant, because the social classes are closer.

I vote for Noir's. I like the blend of future with mythological past, and I think it will combine a cool setting with an intriguing plot.

I just realized that this isn't an option. I guess I vote for KK's then, but with Noir's setting incorporatred into it, if I can do that.

The plot finalization is only to choose which person's plot we will go with as main. A discussion thread will be started for the writing team once it is decided on how to build on the plot, what changes to make, and if we can incorporate ideas from others. Based on the score standings right now, it looks like mine but that does not mean we can't change a small bit of settings to incorporate the other members' ideas as well.
