Who's the guy attacking the Chasers though? And now we know Roxas is one of the Chasers, but who are the other two?

Why's that? I guess all my predictions were wrong with the Chasers being Kairi's Heartless, Sora's Heartless, and Riku's Nobody. However, in the other secret ending, it said "Memory of Xehanhort". Could that man be possibly Xehanhort, the normal one? Or maybe Ansem's Nobody or Heartless. I honestly don't know, but I have a pretty good prediction that that is Roxas in the secret ending. Anyways, the thing about Kingdom Hearts 3 being in the past of future, that was just a rumor. I read on RPGfanatic, or whereever that gives out information on KH3, that Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to take place right after Kingdom Hearts 2 ends, y'know, with the bottle from King Mickey on the Destiny Islands. I'm guessing that the "Keyblade War" text means that maybe there will be a war of two or more sides involving Keyblades. On the site, it listed thign that they were sure of, and things that they were not so sure of. I'll try and look for it again.

They'd be ripping another character design.

I hope so. The only thing that turned my friends and I away from this series was the whole intergrated Disney character idea.

I love how Mickey comes in right at the end and totally kills the awesome mood.
"IM AN ANGRY MOUSE. GRRRRR"
Wicked.
Badass.

Oh well, it'll be a sick game regardless.
And the music is very nice.
And that old guy is very cool.

I think the old guy is... the original heartless Ansem...I think...
But, when does the secret ending take place?
Kingdom Hearts time-wise...is it before Kingdom Hearts the first game?Or after Kingdom Hearts II?
I personally think it's before Kingdom Hearts the first game started... but I don't know...

In 1:35 to 1:45, the shield the girl is casting is around the Oathkeeper, (from what I can tell from the colors, it's kind of blurry.) I think that she was trying to protect that particular keyblade, and when the bald guy broke the shield, he looked satisfied, like he specifically wanted the Oathkeeper for something. Important? I think so. Also note how the brown haired guy's eyes change from blue to yellow when he blinks near the end. I have no idea what the time frame is for the next game, but it would have to be in the future. The past wouldn't have worked because Kingdom Hearts wasn't known back then in the universe of the game. It couldn't have been while Sora was asleep, because he wasn't told of any keyblade war when he was revived, and the war would've lasted more than a year. The present wouldn't work because there was no time for a large scale keyblade war to develop, and create a keyblade graveyard. This would at least have to be a few years in the future...

And about the talk of migrating away from the childish series this used to be... The series is just moving with it's original customers, just like the Harry Potter series. They hook you as a child with G rated stuff; Disney characters and what not, and slowly, the game grows as its players get older. It's a tactic used to keep the same crowd going for a game, book, movie series, etc...

No offense but I think your all over analyzing it all.

When an artist goes to work, all those frivolous details like what kind of smirk the man has or the exact placement of the trio is isn't as such as a big deal as the main theme and idea. People do take artistic licenses, I hope you all know, so everything in there [and the HP book cover] might not be like Jesus when it comes to being perfect with details "truth" for a lack of better term.

How bout this. Its gonna be another kingdom hearts game and we'll enjoy it as we did the first two. Who gives a rip about learning the plot BEFORE playing the game. That just removes all the fun of playing it yourself and learning about the development of the story. Hell they could be pulling a Tarantino and just giving us the ending to the game. No one knows but the developers, and unless one of us is boning the developers then we won't know for a fact.

But thats just me.

Such cruelness, but true... I'm just sad that I'm never going to be able to play the game, (I'm saving for a violin, and don't really want to spend money on a PS3, or Wii, or whatever system it's coming out on, so I'm never going to play the game to figure out the plot.)

Actually the designers at Square Enix said in one of thier latest articles that they began the development of the game before the development of the PS3 started, so it's going to be in the order of PS2 games.

Sora was only asleep for a year or so. I'm guessing that the keyblade war spoken of didn't last for less than a year, and Sora wasn't told of any war going on.

If the game comes out on PS2, I'll pop!!! @_@ (In a good way of course.)

"Birth by Sleep"-

This is the most mysterious quote of them all next to "Memory of Xehanhort". When Sora fell into the darkness, he was "sleeping", and when a person with a stronge heart and will becomes a heartless, a nobody is born; "Birth by Sleep". Roxas was created in this process, and it is believed that Roxas is one of the Chasers, most likely before he became a member of Organization XIII, and during the time period with Sora sleeping.

"Keyblade War"-

Another mysterious quote. We believe that this was either a war that will be in the future or a memory of the past.

These quotes were from a fan website, before the editted it. It's editted most everyday, and new crap appears everyday. So far, thier theories sound believable.

Ok, I've seen this thing once, and already I'm sort of afraid as to where the game is going. I'll try to theorize what I saw.
-I know this game isn't the new Kingdom Hearts installment (meaning number three). It's a new series. Nomura confirmed this on IGN, I remember.
-The old guy, honestly, has to be Xehanort, which makes me sad, since I always pictured him as...well, not like Gollum with a beard.
-That's definitely Roxas.
-That brown-haired guy was pretty cool, and there's only one person he could be. This is as deep as I'll go, as well:
You know how any person who willingly plunged into the Darkness became a Nobody of higher ranking and power (IE - Organization XIII)? That guy can only be one person - Axel, or more specifically, Axel's Heartless (confirmed by his eyes turning yellow).

Of all the things, that was the coolest. Everything else looks disappointing. Hopefully, KHIII itself will be teh awesome.

How can it not be a Kingdom Hearts installment when "KINGDOM HEARTS" clearly appeared on the screen after it was over, (unless you mean that this is a prequel instead of a sequel, which I personally think impossible.) Secondly, remember when Nomura said that all of the characters in the video, (excluding Mickey,) were completely new? That can't be Roxas.

I have a feeling that the "new series" or whatever it was that Nomura called it refers to FFXIII Versus.

Me too. Because I already own a PS2. And even if I didn't, I could probably afford it, unlike the PS3...

This probably won't happen, but wouldn't it be awesome if we went into non-disney movie worlds? It would require a lot of lisencing and money, but it would be awesome. Like a Star Wars world. I'd like to see Sora with a lightsaber. Or a James Bond world. Sora as a secret agend with a gun! Or a The Price is Right world! When Sora has to stop the heartless from taking over all the prizes, and there would be Bob Barker's nobody, Xobb...well, maybe not the last one, but it would be cool. But it probably won't happen.

Look at the resemblence though. I can believe that Axel's Heartless is one of the ESs (Engimatic Soldiers), but that IS Roxas, no doubt about it. And the silver-haired he-she looking thing is I don't know. The Gollum with a Beard is defiently Xehanhort, Ansem's strange apprentice. The name 'Engimatic Soldiers' is gotten from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, eventhough from the original secret ending we called them 'Chasers', we now know new names for them. As for thier real names, I'm actually coming to the conclusion that that person who looks like Roxas, and possibly could be Roxas, may not be Roxas, but someone connected with him. The brown-haired dude could be Axel's Heartless, but I see no resemblence. And as for the other...Kinda looks like Zexion, but he really ISN'T a main character, but niether is Axel, so everything is possible.

Actually Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be based off of the Keyblade War that Kiari's Grandmother mentions which is considered as a fairytale. But the 3 Chasers are confirmed as Ven, Aqua and Terra.

Ven is the one who happens to resemble Roxas.
Aqua is female Chaser with blue hair.
And Terra is the other male fighting in the secret ending.

Each of their names are based of the elements. Ven-Wind, Aqua-Water and Terra-Earth. It very much similar to Sora's, Kiari's and Riku's which their names are also based off of elements; Sora-Sky, Kiari-Sea, Riku-Land. My theory that they are somehow connected.

But it is confirmed that Terra hates Xehenort and yet he is "Master Xehenort Avenger.

Ok for all that dont already know this. None of the characters in the videos are our original characters (meaning no Roxas). The next game is suposidly coming out on eithor Nintendo DS. PSP. or any other hand held gaming device. The game will NOT be called Kingdom Hearst 3 (III). And sora and Roxas will NOT be our main characters. The game is most likely going to follow the life of Riku while sora was sleeping between Chain of Memories and KH2. So no the game will not continue. In fact we will back track in time. Whether these memories will lead into the next few days of play after KH2 is unknown.

About the new Kingdom Hearts title that will be announced after summer this year (2007), will that be a direct sequel?
Tetsuya Nomura: “Hmm…I’m not sure how much I can say. I’ll start of by saying that it’s not Kingdom Hearts 3.”

So this game will be a side story?
Tetsuya Nomura: “That’s right. My own feelings are that I would like to give Sora a break from large adventures for a little while. So I’m thinking of making the next game’s story focus on other characters.”

So by a little while, do you mean that Sora’s journey from Kingdom Hearts 2 hasn’t finished?
Tetsuya Nomura: “Yes. If you’re talking about the mysteries that started from Kingdom Hearts 1, then those were all revealed. In the ending of Kingdom Hearts II, there was a scene where Sora received a letter from the King; for Sora, I would like you to consider this as a new beginning. The truth is, until the very end, I was considering whether or not to include a scene showing them setting off on a journey after reading the letter.”

So, let’s talk about this new story, which doesn’t have Sora as the main character. What sort of story will it be?
Tetsuya Nomura: “Well, I need to start with the story depicted in a Birth by Sleep. Aside from that, there’s the story of how the King found his keyblade in the world of darkness and other things like that. Myself, one of the things I most want to do is to give Roxas more of a role to play. I think it would be interesting to flesh out more of the year he spent between his birth and disappearance. Or making Riku the main character, and writing about his desperate fight while Sora was asleep, and things like that. You get the impression that Riku summoned Roxas to a place of shadows, and that Riku is a master of shadows, so I would like to give him more exploration in the game.”

Will there be anything different in the game system?
Tetsuya Nomura: “I’d like to try something a little different to the previous games in the KH series. I’m not just talking about the next game, more about the next project, so I can’t say that it will just be one game (laughs). For the Kingdom Hearts series, being made with our company and Disney, both companies have things in mind that we would like to make reality, so there’s always at least two things we want to do.”

What platform does it look like the next game will be released on?
Tetsuya Nomura: “Hmm… Probably a hand-held platform. Right now we’re working on titles for the PSP (FFVII Crisis Core), Nintendo DS (This Wonderful World) and for mobile phones (MONOTONE), so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were on any of those platforms.”

Is there any chance that this game may be released on multiple platforms?
Tetsuya Nomura: “We haven’t considered that in the development. If possible, I would like to make a system that suits the platform. But in contrast, in terms of ideas, I would want ideas that could be released on any platform.”

The more I hear about the next game, the more exciting it sounds, but for the fans the first thing to do is to see KH2 Final Mix’s secret movie isn’t it?
Tetsuya Nomura: “Yes. I’m worried that we made the conditions for getting the secret movie too hard, but through reading this guide, I hope the readers will be able to see the secret movie. Finding a way to defeat (the new boss) is tough, but I’ve seen it done, so I know it’s not impossible (laughs). If you’re able to see the new secret movie and turn your thoughts to the next Kingdom Hearts, I’d be very happy.”

Just for you people who haven't read it yet . . .now if you'll excuse me . . .
