This is a really interesting article about an experiment conducted in Washington. The world-famous violinist, Joshua Bell, who plays to sold out crowds on a violin worth millions of dollars, took his stuff over to the Washington subway station and played as a street beggar, to see what would happen. Would they recognize artistic brilliance when they see/hear it?

A very big but great read, with video clips of the actual event.
