View Full Version : Problem with Microsoft Excel...

This is sort of annoying me. When I type in numbers, the numbers come out as different ones. For example, if I type 1, it comes out as 0.01. 2000 comes out as 20. So it seems pretty obvious that Microsoft Excel is dividing all of the numbers by 100 for some reason unknown to me.

Does anyone know how to fix this? :\

If it's dividing by 100 could the cells be set to percentage?

^I've already tried playing with the cells "tab", but I can't figure out what to do.

try formatting the cells, see if they are set to do that

I'm not sure what you mean when you said you've tried with the cells "tab", but just in case, right-click on one of the cells that have the problem, go to "Format Cells", and then if it's not already on the "Number" tab click it. Then see which selection it is on and if it's on something random just click "General". If the problem is still not fixed after that, try changing it to "Text", and if it still not fixed after that... I'm going to have to go back and think. -.-;
