I like your second one and second to last one, they're elegant with vibrant colors, good mix imo.

Heh, at least some of them are good. I usually lack depth and lighting in most of my pieces. :X

Nice smudging. I only wish I could have ripped CS2 in the past. Grr. Still stuck with Elements 2.0.

Good stuff btw. ^_^

Well, I suppose there is always torrenting. I bought CS2 for 40$, and I recieved Elements 3.0 with a tablet I got for Christmas. .__.

Trust me, you don't want mine. I'm not even close to what you could call "good." There are many out there that excell what I could even imagine.

modesty is key for a good GFX artist and basically good for a person as a whole~ ;)

^Not really. How is pretending you think you suck a good character trait? XD
Personally, I say give everyone exactly the amount of credit they deserve, including yourself.

I like your first and heart-eye-patch-girl sigs the most Scarlet. The first for the simple color scheme and the second for the wicked nifty background.

Modesty is more towards the level of degree you take it too, which is in the general truth of your conclusion based off society and what you believe in general. So, telling yourself that it isn't the best opens you to more ideas and chance to improve. :3

I appreciate your comment as well.

Aye, aye. ^_^
Which is why I said:

Meaning, don't say you suck if you don't, and don't say you're amazing if you're not. Be proud of where you've gotten, and let people know where you think you stand.

I appreciate your comment as well.
No problem! :3

Gah, that reminds me. This "LightningSage" who set your signature seemed to have ripped of the following wallpaper and just added text and a border. :<

For shame.

I'm 90% sure when saying this, but he uses MS Paint.

There's not much you can do it MS Paint.

Hahah, so? All the sig makers on this board use stock graphics. As an artist who draws everything he uses, I find the use of *any* stock graphics embarrassing, therefore I consider Lightningsage no more "shameful" than you, Eternal, or any of the other graphics people on these forums. ;)
That wallpaper he ripped was nothing more than a dvd cover with some grunge added onto it. The artist he "stole" it from stole more than he did. I've never been bothered by people who steal from thieves. It's just like recycling! X3
Of course, you put more work into your sigs than he did with mine. (Obviously.) Still, I don't mind that he stole from an artist who stole from another artist anyway. Hahah.

Someday I'll get around to -drawing- up my own sig. Heheh.

lol, I beg to differ XD
I do all my sprite work on MS Paint (and then animate it with a different program XD), and when used right, you can pull off some of the most amazing things. Some of the sigs I made, though not breath-taking but not too shabby either, was made on paint and partly made from my digital camera's picture editing program :shifty: .

lol Chris, I'd like to see you make a sig in Paint. ;P
Paint is fine for sprites and things. It doesn't have the blending options needed to make a very advanced sig.

People do "paintings" in MS paint, and they look very nice. But you can still tell they were done in MS paint. And they'd still look a thousand times better if the person had used GIMP or Photoshop or Open Canvas or whatever other programs are out there. X3

Either way, most graphic communities take it not to have indiviual works cropped and text added to it.

Still, whether it was altered from an original image slightly, it is still someone else's work. So, you can't say you made it, you can put it as if you just cropped their workings for your own.
Same thing applies to communities like deviantART and such.

Also, it basically wasn't stolen since all images and artwork made by the producers is under copyright and artists have been given permission to alter them for further purposes. :<

I extract characters from either walls or scans and put them onto my own backgrounds or a picture that I like and brush it over a few times~
I did cheat before for Chris' old set cos I was a bit lazy that time and his request pissed me off so I went off and used the first couple pic I could find, cropped it and gave it to him~ :P
but everything else is homemade~

Well maybe if the artist were to put the title of the show, manga, or whatever he stole it from into the sig so as to not raise havoc and sueing.

What? :heh:
What producers are those? I've never heard of any studios giving permission for people to use their artwork; that kind of endangers their copyright, so I can't see anyone doing it. It's not like they actually care that we're using their art for sigs and stuff, but I can't see them actually saying that. Hahah. X3
