Aeris' Theme: Problems with measure 5 and above. The thing is, you are putting the Flute, Oboe, and Clarinet in a high register in nearly same notes  . It's even worse at meas. 14 and 15. Oboe is way too low at meas. 20, and then there's a sudden octave jump of notes at 21. Meas. 24; high for Alto Sax. I believe that's the highest note that Alto Saxes can hit (high E).

Zelda Overworld: Meas. 1-3; it's not a great idea to put Clarinet and Oboe in direct unison... then you also have Alto Sax in that register too. Meas. 5-8 was sort of "jumbled". Meas. 24-32; I am (obviously) in a band, and I do not hear Alto Sax with Tenor Sax and with French Horn that often. It starts sounding sort of weird. Don't expect the Clarinet 32nd notes to be played too well if it's not slurred (unless a clarinetist could tounge at an insane tempo  ).

For both songs: Make up your own counterpoints, harmonies, etc... when you start orchestrating!

On a side note, did you listen to that orchestration I PMed you?

They sound OK, but add articulation and dynamics; it's really boring to listen to.

Clarinetist is totally right, the orchestration is.... well, to be honest: bad. Unnecessary doublings, not so tasteful timbre matching... My recommendation for you is to not arrange for bands, orchestras or any big ensembles yet. Start with simple things like pianos, duets, trios and etc... Once you get hang of it, then start learning about other instruments.
