That's right, Ichigo's is taking new sheet music submissions! Details are coming soon and will be posted in the Sheet Music Requests forum.

For now, please make sure the files you wish to submit meet these requirements:
The transcription must be YOURS and YOURS ALONE. Do not submit someone else's music!
The transcription must as correct as possible and of high quality. Anything with excessive mistakes will be removed.

Please submit the following:
REQUIRED: PDF of your work. The PDF must be compatible with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and higher. At the bottom of Page 1 of your PDF in the center, include the following text (watermark): Ichigo's Sheet Music - http://ichigos.com/
REQUIRED: MIDI. Please make sure it plays OK and sounds good.
Optional: MUS (FinaleMusic file). Please put this in a ZIP file and include the Ichigos.com watermark
Optional: Static images (JPG, GIF). Not really necessary but you can include them if you want. Please put these files in a ZIP file and include the Ichigos.com watermark

Do not submit: MP3s, SITs, YouTube links, AnnaKornikova.jpg.vbs or anything that isn't on the list above.

Stay tuned for details (forthcoming in a few days; I need to code the upload system)

I have a lot of stuff transcribed :D . Just have to insert the mark on them.

Question: Does it matter what year of the FinaleMusic file has to be made of? (Most of mine are made from a 2007 version, and I realize that most from ichigos.com use Printmusic 2004.)

And... are arrangements allowed?

There are already some arrangements on Ichigo's anyway, they're not all "transcriptions". Like I did an arrangement for the ending song of Full Metal Panic for piano. If you mean an arrangement a la Fantasy Reborn (http://www.fantasyreborn.com), I don't see why not.

Most of the .mus files on the site are old cos I used PrintMusic at first. Now I have Finale 2005, and I can't open some of the newer files, hehe. As long as you have the .pdf, shouldn't be a problem. The new Notepad should be able to open stuff.

Thanks for the info :). I'll post about half of my transcriptions/arrangements (out of 90-ish -_- ) when I get back from school.

Hold up Clarinetist, they may not be acceptable. If the transcriptions were arranged from a MIDI file would they still count as your work or are they not acceptable. For example, taking a MIDI file of a rock band an arranging it for piano.

I would just like the clarification of what we are considering "your own work" so there aren't any misunderstandings.

Using a MIDI as the source and arranging it is fine. When submitting the MIDI, make sure you submit the MIDI that corresponds to your transcription, not the original.
