It thinks that I'm not hosting a .pdf... or maybe it's because it's made from that new Adobe Reader...

EDIT: I am using Adobe Reader 8.0. And for some reason, the .pdf icon looks different @_@, compared to when I had 7.0.

Yeah, I have Acrobat 7.0, isn't it possible though to save the file in a previous version of PDF with Acrobat 7.0 though?

6.0 through current (8.0) all use the same file format, so you can just save it as a normal PDF file and 6.0+ readers can read it.

Did you upload mus files? I only see the PDF and MIDI...

I have a PDF file that no matter how low quality I make it, the file is always 1.62Mb which exceeds the upload limit. What can I do?

This is just an idea of mine in progress, but I am planning to transcribe A LOT of Zelda music for piano; planning to make a little idea of,

"The Pianists' Collection of The Legend of Zelda" or "The Legend of Zelda: Virtuostic Piano Music" ..something along those lines.

Well, getting to my point, when this is all finished I am wondering if Ichigo's could be a sponsor at all for this and post it on the main page. . .I would really want the people to have *finally* have good piano transcriptions & arrangements of Zelda music. Over the past few years I have looked and looked for anyone good enough to transcribe (and ultimately) arrange Kondo's genius, and no one is a good candidate.

Hope the admins would consider this one the side, but don't worry about it for until the next few months. :)

what I am asking is basically who checks them, and also how many people are involved in the process.
I think there should be some kind of thread/forum/board for sheet evaluation where the members can contribute in it's accuracy.

Could we change the upload rules so that instead of uploading a MIDI file of the sheet we can upload an MP3 of it instead?

Good idea, however, the larger file size might be problematic for some people with slower connections. Perhaps add the option of uploading an Mp3 in additional to the midi?

Even with a 56k a 10MB mp3 is still manageable. I think taking the midi off as a requirement would be great cause I can only extract my audio as wav/mp3 unless I rewrite it using noteworthy or something and take it out as midi but I'm too lazy for that lol.

I'm having trouble submitting to the main site. It says that I exceed the 1MB limit, but I cannot lower the quality of the 2.19MB PDF file even when I print it at 72DPI (CutePDF).

Hmm, I suggest getting PDFCreator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/).

The program is very clean, I haven't had any pdfs exceed 400kb yet, and the quality seems fine.

This thread is for transcribers to submit sheet music to the master ichigos.com website, so it's not likely that you'll find a transcriber in this thread. Also one of your requested pieces is neither from an anime or a game, thus it is outside the scope of our site's transcribers (but you pro'lly already are aware of this from your other thread).

Er, I can't upload a .mid to the site.

"There is a problem with your submission.

Invalid file type () or no MIDI file specified. Please upload a MIDI file."

is the message I receive. I'm sure it's a .mid, and the properties on the file even say it's a MIDI file. There are no foreign characters in the file name, and I'm only uploading the .pdf and .mid.

Is something wrong here?
