It's getting to that time of the year! With Summer holidays coming up (at least
for a majority of us) I'm wondering something. How long do you practice during
summer holidays, or any holiday?: Not at all? All the time? A couple hours a day?
This summer I'm going to try to practice 6 hours a day. Master every scale. :P
And probably learn a bunch of songs. How about all of you?

its so hard though when people are asking you to go out to just say, sorry i really need to practise

Summer is really the only time I have time to practice for a long while, but I can't do 6 hours a day yet... Usually 3, or 4 tops.

The summer is the time I practise the least... but since i'll start play the violin in september I want to practise at least 3 hours a day, and learn many new songs and master things i have problems with. Though practising 3 hours might be hard while I'm visiting my mother's mother and the families of my mother's siblings in june (that would be about 7 places I need to visit and it's only in one of the families I'm allowed to play at least a little, and another one I might be if I'm a stand-in for their scarecrow so the crows won't steal any strawberries...) and then the heat will gibve me a fever in july and it will prpably end about when i start working three weeks in august... It's seems i only will practis at the weekends while i'm working and the last week before getting started with school and stuff again...@_@
Someone who could give me a good argument to say while visiting my mother's family? I mean, they won't listen to me if I say i want to become a musician, since my mother's family will say I won't become rich that way (they only think about money and they others are the same as them... They'll probably get angry no that I died my hair red...x_x )

I never took practice seriously so I can't play much. My plans are revise, work and play computer games. If I find a song I really want to play then that is the only practice I will do. It will only be a single song and I will only learn it so that I can play without the sheet music in front of me.
