o_0 What do you think? My friends in real life say that the proportions are off... so disregarding proportions..

i like the backround i think you should study a little more on bodies if you dont' mind me saying so. you could work a little with the coloring but everything esle looks great. just keep working on it.
oh and if M comments just be cool about what he says. he can be a little harsh but try to suck up all the info you can from his comments. ok? it'll help.

yup, I'm totally aware about the body thing. I just hate drawing from references for some reason, so everything's out of my brain XD.. how could I improve on colouring? I know it's more of a "screenshot anime" colouring style than the kind that's typically found on CGed anime pics like the one in your siggy..

o_o who is M? All I gather as of now is that he's a mod.

Also, I didn't see any "art and graphics posting rules" so could someone please tell me the general stuff? Seeing as I don't know what counts as a legitimate thread. *looks at Mis*

Just make one thread be your gallery thread. In other words, don't make a new thread for every piece of work. Oh, and take criticizm with a grain of salt. There is no need for a fight between members on opinions.

That's how it was when I last checked.

I love that font. What program did you make this with?

mkay ^^

I used photoshop 7... and about the font, I did the name by tablet with a 3 px brush. no font :P

edit: T^T it doesn't let you change the name of the thread... would I get in trouble for making another thread to be my "main" thread? <<;

It is very nicely done. The only thing that I don't like it the area between the nose and the mouth. It's not bad or anything, and I'm not trying to critique your style, I just don't like anybody's drawings like that. I just think it makes people look so snobby... Other than that, I think it's great. Although, If I made it, I would have put the character on the right side, because I wouldn't want my icons to cover the person. Very nice work.

Sondagger (or whoever changed the thread name): thanks ^_^

Gya: lol, true. My character's supposed to be slightly elitist even though she still gets owned by half the world XD and... about the icons.. my icons are on the right :D you know you can move desktop icons around, right?

Yeah, I know, but I read from left-to-right, so that's the way I like my icons. If I'm not mistaken, most other people are like that. But that's just my opinion. Nice work.

I really love the coloring on this one! As for the proportions, I wasn't too bothered by anything. Sure, the thighs are thinner than the calves in your picture, but I guess it gives the drawing more uniqueness. =D Good work!

I really like your work, your coloring is very flush. I like how you did a cherry-black fade in the background, it's a color I would have chosen as well. I'd say the uniqueness of the flowing of color and style in your drawing throws off all of the technical flukes. For the drawing is the type that bases all attention on the whole drawing instead of the character. Which is pretty hard if you ask me. So good job on that :p

All I would say would be an improvement, is if you could've placed something in the right just as to cover up all the empty space. Like some design or logo or something just so as the drawing didn't look so naked.

Gya: well, I don't use my desktop icons very much...

Crim: ...and the icons are what I use to cover up the right side XD

Hey! Let me just say that I like it a lot!

I love the text and a lot of it is very nicely detailed. I agree with one of the above statements, her nose makes her look slightly snobby, but then again, maybe that's your style. Or maybe that's the character... :heh:

As for proportions, I think she looks very long and streched out.

I really like the coloring though. I like how it's blended in some areas, and not blended in others. It gives it a unique touch. The costume is great too. Over all, great job! ^_^

(oh and welcome to the art forum :) )
