Based on a manga by Fujishiro Takeshi, serialised in Monthly Shounen Gangan.
Ikuto Touhohin just had a fight with his old man, one that led him to make a rash decision to run away from home. He boards a ship, deciding to take a vacation, but the ship is suddenly hit by a huge storm - one that sends Ikuto overboard! When he regains consciousness, he realizes he is still alive… on some island. An isolated island. An isolated island with nothing but girls. Beautiful girls. Stranded on an island with only girls, no electricity, gas, radio, television… like he was back in the stone age.
Wow. Take a bit of Love Hina, add some Girls Bravo, then strand a guy on an island that has only girls; add the new 2007 artstyle and you've got yourself an impressive anime.
Sure, this is the typical harem where there's at least seven girls that fit the stereotypical descriptions. There's an overall, one that's a tomboy, miko, et cetera... All fighting over a guy. But! This anime does it good. Not one character is too obnoxious (yet). The only real complaint that I have is that it hasn't gone anywhere in the past 8 episodes, and it's only 13 long. I wonder how they're going to develop the second half...
Still, I recommend you checking this anime out.
