I was given this advice so I'll pass it on to you, I couldn't pick out a melody and it felt kind of random, I've done this in the past too, okay so it was like a week or 2 ago but still, think of a melody in your head, write it out, do not yet add a bassline or a harmony, at first keep it single noted(the melody) i can still be any difficulty but for now keep it single noted

Okay so you've got the melody, it's good but it's terribly boring...look to see what the notes of your melody are...find the chords and harmonies that match. Say if your melody uses the notes between midC and B that opens the door for chords like Cmaj, Dmaj, etc. And another thing add some variety to the chords juist because most of your melody is in Cmaj dont constantly put the chord C E G in the bass clef

and when it's all done add some dynamics make it exciting:)

Btw, there were good ideas in there(your piece) find them, pull them out, and refine them

Uh. Not much to say other than, 'junk it' and start simplier. This had no [real] recorgnizable theme or feel. It was kinda random, and had a techno pattern .. almost

Like I said, not much to say, but it's random and not random at the same time. Eh.
