Thanks for all of your help, everybody; it was really useful. Here's the completed version of "Memories of a Lonely Night." If you can give me some feedback on the piece I would really appreciate it. Here are a few things to keep in mind when you're listening to it:

1) PEDAL: I tried putting pedal in it, and though it is better, it isn't exactly what I wanted. Sometimes it overpowers and things don't sound the way I intended (ex. measure 23-29)

2) EMOTION: It doesn't have any. It's suppost to. Try to imagine it being played passionately.

3) THE LAST MEASURE: It's suppost to be a lot slower. I couln't figure out how to make it do that.

Enjoy.

Ah yes, I like this intro a lot better than the other one.

At measures 22-25, not sure about the bass though, in my opinion. Try not to use those triplet 16th notes too much.

Measures 38-45, I like the accents! :)

I'm not so sure on the ending though. o_O

It's good, keep it up!

Oh, and you should keep all your compositions on one thread, to save space. ^_^

EDIT: For your 3), to make it slower, you would need to add a ritardando in there, but you would need Finale Printmusic and up.

Wow, pretty impressive actually. Although I don't get ANY vibe of 'Memories of a Lonely Night' but a more evil-dramatic type feeling.

As a pianist, I do not think that 23-30 were suitable for a pedal throughout that passage. I would just take it off, and add in a ped. at measure 23; sounds REALLY mashy and you can't a great left hand counter-point [compliment].

About the pedal, the asterisk (*) looking thingy is how you lift the pedal, so you should use that.

Yeah, once you get as low as you did in 23, the sounds does not become as distinct to the ear so all that pedaling just makes it sound like a mush of sound.
