Hi there
These are some compostions of mine. I would just like to know what people think about them and if they are worth the time I spent to create them.

Uckel - String Experiment (http://mitglied.lycos.de/buckeliz0r/Music/Uckel%20-%20String%20Experiment%202.ogg)
This is my first serious attempt in composing something

Uckel - Jolle (http://mitglied.lycos.de/buckeliz0r/Music/Uckel%20-%20Jolle%202nd%20Version.ogg)
A song for a friend

Uckel - strange Music (http://mitglied.lycos.de/buckeliz0r/Music/Uckel%20-%20strange%20Music.ogg)
And just somthing different.

Thanks for taking your time to listen and comment.

.ogg is oggVorbis. It's an audio format similar to MP3. You can play it with most of the common MP3-Players. If you can't take a look at this page Vorbis Software Page (http://www.vorbis.com/download_win_1.0.1.psp).
I'm sorry but posting the MIDI file would be senseless since I'm not working with GM.

1. It had some good orchestration and string work, but it lost my attention somewhere in the middle of it. Maybe you could develop it to be more short and memorable, instead of long and not so memorable. oÔ;

7/10

2. The part I liked was when the strings were introduced, the guitar in the begining was okay, but only that.

6.5/10

3. Good chord progression, but it gets repetetive. Good work with the ambiance sounds.

7/10

Have any other songs? I'd like to hear them if so.

Thanks for commenting.
Noir:
I see your points of criticism but I doubt that I am able to create something more 'memorable'. And as I'm composing rarely, I probably won't change the songs I consider to be more or less done.
I would not say, that I have more songs, but some bunches of ideas mixed together and put into one file. None of these are finished, and none will be, I fear, since I don't know how to finish them. I doubt that you want to hear them.

HopelessComposer:
GM is the abbreviation for 'Genereal MIDI'.
And don't forget: There's always hope!
