It looks like a selection from So Deep (Heavy). So Deep is notoriously difficult for beginners to read.

Congrats, you get a cookie :P One day, if I have nothing better to do, I'll replace that sig with a whole song, maybe Delirium or Pandemonium (I got that evil idea from someone saying that they tried to dance my sig...)

So Deep was probably the last of the 9-footers I conquered...

I didn't see the video, but I can pull a 16 Hz on Tsugaru :P (yeah, I know, that doesn't count), a 12.7 Hz on Maximizer, and a 14.7 Hz on Anubis. What's difficult is a sustained run. Do a google video search on Pandemonium, and watch the video of a guy playing Pandemonium Expert No Bar, which is a SUSTAINED 11Hz including some nastily placed crossovers. I can do a sustained run at 9 Hz on Charlene, and I can do *some* of that nasty run towards the end of Delirium at 11 Hz.

I'm not a good player, nor do I claim to be, by the way :P

hehe... i remember the first time i played it.. i was at my friends house and she got it for christmas .... i couldn't get any steps .. my first song was only you - captain jack.. lol.. that was a year ago but now i can pay pretty much every heavy song.. ( i can't pass 10's and some 9's) but now my friend always gets mad when i tell her to play on heavy cuz she still can't play passed light ..^.^

We went to the movies with my friends because it was one of their b-days and after the move we were playing ddr... what mix is the one with 1998, happy wedding, some song with b**** in it and snow white love.. i think thats what i is called? it at the theaters in burlingto pplz from canada might no

"1998", I think that's on DDR Extreme.

And they replaced the DDR machine at Silver City (London, Ont) with a DDR imitation. <_<

DDR Imitation? Pump It Up? Or In The Groove?

In any case, In The Groove is every bit as good as DDR. Sure, the backgrounds aren't as good, but Vertex(^2), Euphoria, Pandemonium, Summer, and others make a mockery of anything that DDR can throw out, from PS/M to Max. to Sakura. Why can't ITGers and DDRers just get along? :) Both games have their challenges and their goodies...

EDIT: WHEE....AA So Deep Heavy 2x Reverse...though it wasn't a full combo :( I had a 490+ combo, then freaked out at the end...

lol our school decided it would be cool to have a while room devoted to DDR. so i go there, check it out, do a standard song and everyone in the room is like o.O *all bow down to DDR god* and i was like ><'a uhh ok, this was my warm up song, -_- too many white people there who didn't know WTH they were doing

I wish I could be a DDR god with only a standard song :P I remember at the arcade I'd sometimes go to when I visited my grandparents, there were a lot of really good players...someone did The Beginning Expert (11 feet) on 4x...and no one even noticed (except the non-regulars like me)...

does antone know any arcade locations in hamilton, oakville burlington, stoney creek or grimsby that have ddr... other than movie theaters....there used to be one in a mall but they got rid of it years ago and replaced it with something

btw this is probably a stupid question but does anyone know who to contact to get a ddr machine? like the ones they have at the movies and arcades and stuff... cuz well, at this place called confederation park in hamilton/stoney creek (it like a water park and it has miniputting a batting cage and an arcade) well they don't have a ddr machine and my dad is the manager and he said he would try and get one if he knew who to contact but ya.... if they would get one then i would go there everyday

No idea about the legality of said machines, but that's for you and your dad to work out ;)

They're all good songs in my opinion. Anyway, I love DDR as you can tell :P. My favourite would have to be the song called "A" and also Afronova. Speed over Beethoven is good too, but Butterfly owns all ^.^
