InuYasha is my favorite anime... good story line..love triangle.. cool characters.... Sesshomaru is my favorite character... he's awesome.. hes my favorite anime character too!'

I like Inuyasha also, but I refuse to watch the Cartoon Network episodes (no offense or anything if you do watch them..) I just...well.. for 1) I dont like English Dubs of anime 2) The art in the later episodes is better, and 3) The earlier episodes tend to be boring to me.. ^^'

I stopped watching the cartoon network ones...because all the episodes they sow right now are either ones i have on dvd or have recorded from thier previous showings... I watch dubbed episodes because.... well I dont know.. but It's not like anyone can hate americans just because they cant fit things by meaning or anything like that. I know people like that... I only get things that arent dubbed because I'd rather watch them in their original format. Like the InuYasha movies for example... even though the copy of the first one I have was a crappy fan-sub. But all and all I'd say that InuYasha is one of my favorite animes that I enjoy the same dubbed or not.

I like Inuyasha ( subbed, of course ) and i've seen up to episode 144 or so and cant wait to see the rest from my friend...and i dont like to see it on cartoon network cuz i dont think the dubbed is good for some anime.....

Inu Yasha is one of the good dubbed...

I LOVED Inu Yasha... until they put it on Cartoon Network. Because of CN, too many people became obsessed with it, claiming to be the "original watchers" of the show, blah blah. It's a great anime though.

Inu Yasha is the coolest of all time. And that's only because I watch it subbed. I absolutely love Sesshoumaru! I dunnoe, I just think he's hot... :oops: But CN did totally mess up IY. First time I heard Iron Rubber Soul Stealer (I dun know wat it's called..?!) instead of Sankontessou; I immiediatly flipped the channel.

Sesshoumaru is my favourite character in Inuyasha too... but Miroku is ok as well.... although he's perverted, haha. The storyline's pretty good, but it is SUCH a long series!! it's even longer than Rurouni Kenshin!!

IY is like 150 eps....kenshin is 95.....

i think kenshin is better than IY cuz IY just goes on & on & on...the ShiShiO battle was great, and everything after that just sucked

That aside, Inuyasha is an awsome anime. I personally prefer Inuyasha/Kagome. Reasons? 1) Kikyo is [b]dead[/d] 2) Kikyo's former self was cool, but her revived verson needs a chill pill and some arsenic. No offence to Kikyo fans. 3) Anyone seen "Return to the Place Where We First Met"?

Also, I despise Kikyo. No offense to any of her fans. she's dead! And I want to see Kagome and Inuyasha together so bad.

Inuyasha is probably the longest running anime on CN since the whole Dragon ball series and such. I tend to opt for the shorter ones (outlaw star, cowboy bebop, FLCL...) but inuyasha just pulls me in!! It's those cute little ears ^_^

Oh, and although I don't consider myslef a hardcore fan, I do really love Inuyasha. So please dont be mean? hehe. And i agree with a previous comment...Some ppl just dont have the money or w/e to get dvd's and all that jazz. TV versions arent so bad.

I borrowed the DVDs from a friend and he has up to 150, but it wasnt finished. It stopped when these 5 people were resurrected by Naraku in order to kill Inu Yasha. It all happened near a holy mountain or something....i dont remember much since i watched it last year....

I know that episode! They were five out of seven, the Shichinintai ancient wariors. That mountain was called umm... oh yeah! Mt. Hakurei! There's something about the wountain though... I think it's where the final shard is.. I can't remember....

inu yasha's one of the best animes...but i hate the dubbed...=___=...my brother's little friend who watches the dubbed came running to me shrieking something about an iron soul stealer and that really annoyed me...o ya...does anyone know when the third movie is coming out subbed or whatever?

Why do people get so annoyed by that stuff.... they only say Iron Reaver Soul Stealer because censors on certain channels require them to use the translated speech for that kind of thing like the wind scar. It's still"Kaze no Kizu" but in english which is Wind Scar. They have to do that on cartoon network and all the dubbed versions because most american anime distributors make their dubs understandable for the veiwers the shows aimed for. "Bakuryuha" has been changed to backlash wave only because the actual translation "Explosive flowing wave" wouldnt fit the lip sinc. They have to think about that too. If they have to change something to fit they try to make it mean the same thing. Also with "Sankontesso" that translates to "Exorcising claws of steel" which alos doesn't fit the lip sinc. They also had to change "Hijinkesso" to it's translation "Blades of blood" They have to change alot unless its the name of a place or person... but attacks have to change. As well as certain items that americans can't relate too. So next time a dub bubs you.. think of the peope behind the dub. Most of the time they don't want to change things but sometimes they have too. It's not like you can really blame them. :?

before inuyasha came on cartoon network i downloaded it and I dislike the dubbing but it is not too to bad I have seen up to episode 145, whoever makes up the storylines for animes are really talented.

Inuyasha is one of my favourite animes, I have the playstation game of it, its really really fun but I am only good at being inuyasha or koga. (in the video game miroku when he does his throw he picks guys up with his staff but he pats girls on the butt and they just fall over, miroku is nice but he is a perv.)

i like inuyasha. i don&#39;t watch it but i read the manga. i like kikyou as a favorite character, BUT here&#39;s a change. i like kikyou before she dies. i am hoping that kagome and inuyasha are together instead of kikyou and inuyasha because kikyou is already dead. koga and kagome doesn&#39;t look like they should be together, but her and inuyasha does. miroku and sango should go together. i found a picture of them kissing&#33; :gasp&#33;: i think it&#39;s a fan picture.

What is real fun is watching the anime in french or in spanish. It takes away the entire experence of it.

English is horrible. They make the characters sound like their 30 or something. Plus the translations sometimes don&#39;t come out clearly.

Well the US version of CCS was completely messed up from the original version. In Canada they didn&#39;t completely change everything like the US version (though they did use the title "Cardcaptors"

I don&#39;t hate dubs. I definitely don&#39;t prefer the dubs but they simply aren&#39;t gonna stick Japanese shows on TV. I also agree that some dubs are horrible, but some are completely acceptable, and even appropriate (like in Noir)

And to Ayanami, the actors may sound like they are 30 because they are around that age. The actors for Inuyasha&#39;s and Kagome&#39;s voices are both very experienced actors who have been doing this for years. I don&#39;t know why they don&#39;t have younger people doing these voices, but they seems to be getting along ok.

And my actual opinion about the anime: I think it&#39;s too long and drawn out. I think I gave it a fair chance by watching 40 episodes but in japan they are at episode 140 or 150 and it&#39;s STILL not over. It&#39;s essentially just the same thing over and over. I guess I&#39;m not really a huge fan of action anime in the first place ^_^

Inu Yasha is OK, but the storyline is too typical: someone/something evil is going to destroy the world, if not stop.

The songs are good too, but Change the World kinda gets on my nerves now...*someone* keeps playing it too much at my house...*shivers*

inu yasha is somewhat typical, because in most fantasy plot lines, there has to be an evil person and the save the world type of thing. *shrugz* i still like it anyways...

inuyasha is good but it falls in the group of "girls in school uniforms go to other worlds" just like the 12 kingdoms anime and fushigi and I know that there are at least 3 more but I just can&#39;t think of them now.

i have decided...i love kouga&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; he says he loves her about three times in the space of 2 minutes in a ep i watched&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; *happy dance* and, i am going to cosplay him coz he&#39;s so damn cool&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; XD ^__^V

even tho inuyasha drags, and inuyasha refuses to admit that he like kagome, i still love it&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; i guess also coz i&#39;m so damn deprived of it *tear*

Kouga is the "brave" kind of guy who wouldn&#39;t be afraid to declare his love for Kagome... totally different from Inuyasha... but i still hated how Inuyasha chose kikyo over kagome in one of the earlier episodes...

Inuyasha can be so stupid....I get SOooo frustrated. Kagome should pick Kouga one day and see how he feels..*grr*

inuyasha does get annoying, but haha, the relationship thing with miroku and sango is just so funny ^^

I agree. I played the other one and I liked it but it didn&#39;t really have a story line

The InuYasha rpg game comes out in September... it looks awesome apart from all the chibi and stuff.. you can supposedly build relationships with the characters that will affect later outcomes and events. Also you can be a boy or girl and each gender has slight changes in storylines. (How much you wanna bet Miroku tries to hit on you if youre the school girl?) :P Anyways you can also supposedly be a good or bad guy... I just hope Sesshomaru is on the bad team&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;1 He better not have some ripoff part like in the second movie......

thats because almost every school in japan has school uniforms like that, they are almost all the same, just the colours are different.

I heard there was 200 but I&#39;m not sure, I know theres more than 150, because thats how many I&#39;ve watched.

i know there are 32 books...and right now...they&#39;d be at about book 20? even tho it&#39;s not out yet...and i think it&#39;s about ... (7 x 26?) hahaha 7 seasons i believe...so yah...

Is the series complete in Japan, because I heard their is somthing like 125 episodes.

Judging by my source that is not true though.

Inuyasha is on TV where I live but it hasn&#39;t been on long. I started downloading it before it was on TV, so by time it was episode one on tv I was already at around episode 100 so I kept downloading it. I&#39;m at episode 149 and I&#39;ve been downloading it for about a year. thats 3 episodes a week, its really not that slow when you think about it.

Try not to mention that you download several episodes, that is, more than one. It is illegal to download any material that is founded or copyrighted by a company, other than for trial purposes (trailers and such are legal).

Sometimes you can download anime legally if you can&#39;t purchase them where you live. You can download anime legally on animesuki.com and other internet sites.

It&#39;s been due to end for, like, ever. Personally I never really like inuyasha. The characters are a little under developed. The only good parts are the music and movies.

It&#39;s only the anime that&#39;s ending in September, the manga is still going on. . . . Well that&#39;s according to "Inuyasha Information from Japan".

Although it&#39;s kinda hard to believe that it&#39;s ending at 167 when right now they&#39;re at episode 160 and they&#39;re on filler episodes. There&#39;s still about 15-20? chapters of the manga that they still have to cover.

I got these from ear-tweak.com which I have found to be a really reliable source. The only thing that pisses me off is that &#39;Using the Shikon Shard&#33;&#39; is only at chapter 335, and the manga is at 371 and still thriving (though things are starting to near the end). When i watched it i was totally glued to the tv, i love deamons and anime plus this thing has an interesting plot. Plus i just loved the comedy and action in this thing.

Iv watched it on Cartoon network until we didnt get that channel anymore and now i watch it whenever i go over to my dads or my friends house on YTV.

Inu Yasha is one my fav all time anime&#39;s. It&#39;s hilarious, got romance plus Inu Yasha kicks but plyus i like his ears. they;re cute&#33;&#33;

And trust me the Dubbing company is going to slaughter the ending like they do withg any other worth watching anime show. They&#39;re probably gonna make it look like swiss cheese or cut out all the good parts and all the blood.

Hey if they cut out the first episodes of Yugi-oh which in my opnion totally got me lost at the begining, they can screw up Inu-yasha.

I&#39;m not worried about the dubing companies (yet atleast) but the actual studio (sunrise i think) making the endings.

inu-yasha is good but its&#39; way too long of a sieres to support a plot like that. i mean i got really bored of it after th 102th episode. but the ending peisodes were better the plot actually thickened for a while.

For all those querying people (and it&#39;s prolly been answered earlier..) NO Inuyasha has not finished. The first Season (1-166/7) has recently ended in Japan and the animators are taking a break from it. As I saw the last episode today, I can truthfully say that they could not end the anime at that point. It&#39;s a little frustrating, though, because I&#39;m sure they must be running out of ideas and it really is about the right time to end the thing.......

The manga is still going, though possibly for not too much longer as Takahashi&#39;s Ranma 1/2 was long (38 manga vols) and I think Inuyasha is reaching that now....

There is an Inuyasha movie (the fourth) coming out this December. Goto http://www.ear-tweak.com for details.

and lala... that&#39;s about as much as I can be bothered saying... People asking Inuyasha questions - why don&#39;t you just search the answers on the net? I like it a lot, I&#39;m on episode 142 now, but now its at the point where I feel it just needs to end. I mean, Inuyasha isn&#39;t learning anything new, I&#39;m sick of the same enemies over and over and over, and even more the same songs every single time. So bothersome. Its a good anime, but its starting to really get repetitive. Naraku runs away every single time, which is annoying, and I&#39;m not getting any more suprises out of it.

I really wish that Kikyo would just get blown up or something, since anyone else besides Kagome with Inuyasha makes me wanna hurl.... BLECK&#33;&#33;

The reason I watch dvds and read the manga instead of watching it on cn is cause I don&#39;t have cable.

Besides, Kikyo is nothing more than a walking, talking, hating wad of mud who has tried to take her &#39;love&#39; to hell with her how many times? like 1327364918765497653349763249873. Maybe one or two less.

You need to remember that some areas observe Daylight Savings Time and move their clocks an hour forward or backward depending on the Season.

I love Inuyasha (also spelled Inu-Yasha or Inu Yasha)&#33; I&#39;m currently getting all of the manga books. And I always watch the show, even though it&#39;s on past midnight. Sesshoumaru (also spelled Sesshomaru and Sesshou-maru) is my favourite character, he&#39;s good but then again evil...

I don&#39;t get it on tv at all... and probably never will. Anime *is* popular here in Australia, but only one of the tv stations will show anything other than Yugioh & Dragon Ball ... :( And that&#39;s a station that&#39;s dedicated to foreign tv, so it&#39;s busy showing french, spanish, vietnamese, chinese, korean, dutch and whatever else before it gets around to putting on the anime goods :&#39;(

I watch anime in Chinese sometimes... we get satellite tv.. but I can&#39;t understand too much .. =_=

Just saw the end of the anime, and believe me, this is the worst ending I&#39;ve ever seen in my life for ANYTHING, if it can even be called an ending. They really climaxed the story towards the end, and yet they just........drop the whole thing. No wrapping up, Naraku of course doesn&#39;t die, no major super fight, just like a regular episode, nothing even remotely specail about it. Except the credits say its over. I&#39;m very, very, very dissappointed.

It&#39;s not completely over. There will be OVAs that continue the series.

Well, I love Inuyasha&#33; I don&#39;t watch the Cartoon Network episodes because they&#39;re on too late. I&#39;d rather be sleeping at that time&#33; Anyway, Sesshmaoru is my favorite character.

I like Sango. No reason. I just do.

i agree it isn&#39;t the "right" one it&#39;s just the original in japanese. The english ones have been revised so it&#39;s sort of different but basicly the same.^^

well the tv episodes end but there&#39;s the 4th movie that "officialy" ends it^^

Everything must come to an end or else it just gets boring. I like inuyasha too, but it&#39;s gotta end somethime. Get over it.

inu yasha&#39;s a god show and all, but lately all he&#39;s been doing is running around and killing people....mind you, its fairly amusing but still...the main part that gets me is the way the series ends. i mean, COME ON&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; most series would have inu yasha kill naraku, but noooooooo instead naraku lives, and they all decide to keep on hunting naraku....great, that was a waste of time....if a show has to end, do it decently...

the 4th movie was just a side story though....nothing special but the music is really good&#33; :lol:

But still even if the serie does continues on and on it would be boring so it&#39;s gotta end sooner or later, it&#39;s just a matter of time.

Inu Yasha is a really good anime/manga series.

Hmm... I heard a different ending to the anime. I know the manga is still going but I have heard many different endings to this show, but the one I heard from this guy who knows a whole lot about IY stuff was really sad

It is REALLY a good anime.

i like Inu Yasha it is one of my favs. It is the best animes i&#39;ve seen and i cant wait for toinght to see the next episode. :drool:

Inu-Yasha is one of my favorite anime too. I love to watch it, and I don&#39;t really care much if it&#39;s dubbed becuase I can&#39;t really go into a store and just buy an Inu-Yasha DVD... <_<
